Hint: Make your Sim eat air
Make your Sim make dinner and let he or she sit down at the table.
When he or she is about to eat, enter buy mode. Then, switch it over
to the other side on another chair. This will move your Sim to the
other side without its plate. Watch your Sim as it pokes at the
table with its fork and eats.
