Hint: Defeating Commander Shroob
When the battle begins, you will be facing three Shroobs holding a
large Shroob-like Bomb-omb. Attack and destroy the middle and rear
Shroobs so that the front Shroob is crushed by the bomb because he
cannot hold up the weight himself. The bomb will roll backwards,
blowing up Commander Shroob, allowing you to attack him. The most
effective attacks on him are the Ice Flower (to lower his stats, and
do critical damage), Copy Flower, and Red Shell, provided you have
good timing. His attack is mostly slapping Shroobs towards
you;.defend with your hammers. He has a lot of HP, and the battle
will last awhile because after a few turns he will summon more
Shroobs with the bomb again. Repeat the first strategy to reveal
Commander Shroob again, then repeat the second strategy until he is
defeated. High Pow and a lot of patience is recommended.

Hint: Defeating Mrs. Thwomp
She can be a bit difficult, but if you see the pattern, it will be
easy. She will usually jump up on the top of the screen and spin. If
she lands on the Mario's side, make Mario jump first, then Luigi,
and vice versa. If she manages to jump in the middle, make them both
jump at the same time to avoid damage. She will also spit out rocks
at you. Try to break them, because you will be given items such as
Ice Flowers, Fire Flowers, Coins and Mushrooms. Once you damage her
enough times, she will break apart and have four mini versions of
her. Pay attention to which eyebrow raises. That is the direction
they will be going to. When they jump toward you, just hit them with
the hammer. If they hit you enough times, you will get dizzy and may
miss a couple turns. When it is your turn, get a Red Pepper and use
Ice Flowers to hit them all. It might lower some defenses. Continue
using Ice Flowers. It will then transform back to its bigger self
and continue the same process. It may seem like the battle is
endless, but continue the process and she will eventually be
defeated.

Hint: Defeating Shroob Princess' Twin
Have the Ulti-Free badge (bought in Fawful's shop for 90 Beans) on
Luigi and the Shroom Badge A on Mario. Also have lots Super, Ultra,
Max Mushrooms; Drops;, and 1-Up Supers. Start by hitting her as hard
as you can with repeated Mix/Copy Flowers every turn with Luigi.
Just have Mario attack normally. When you take off half her HP (3000
HP), she will appear to die, but instead turn into a much more
powerful form with four tentacles and a cluster of tentacles at her
feet. When this happens, target her foot, or better yet all of her,
with a Mix Flower. When the foot is destroyed, she gets shorter.
This allows you to target her crown. Destroy or knock off her crown
so that your attacks will work on her. Repeat this process until she
is defeated and watch what comes next Be prepared; she has 6,000 HP.

Hint: Ending loop Mario And Luigi: Partners
Now and then when you defeat Princess Shroob's twin's uglier self,
do not save when you are in the castle. You will be repeatedly
defeating the powered-up Bowser. Save the game before the great
battle so that you are free to wander around the world, leveling up
and finding good items.

Hint: Defeating Sunnycide
There are five eggs in front of Sunnycide. Ignore Sunnycide and go
for the eggs. Attack an egg until it hatches. A Yoshi will come out
and start pushing a boulder on a ledge high above. Hatch five eggs
while avoiding Sunnycide's attacks, and the Yoshis will launch the
boulder at Sunnycide and knock him down. He is now vulnerable.
Attack him with everything you have while avoiding his attacks until
he stands back up. Repeat this process until he has been defeated.

Hint: Dodge attacks(Mario And Luigi: Partners)
During a battle press Attack for Mario or Luigi to dodge enemy
attacks.

Hint: Double damage hammer in Piggyback mode
Attack an enemy with a hammer. When it shakes, press the baby's
button and the big Bro. will stand the baby up. Then, press the
button again to do double damage.

Hint: Defeating The Piranha Plant
Keep on jumping on it and use Red Peppers. Once it is grounded to
the floor, try to avoid the quicksand by doing multiple jumps. Once
he is stuck inside the ground, he will try turning off the lights to
get a Boo to steal an item from you. Smack the Boo with a hammer to
prevent this from happening. Use a Fire Flower or Ice Flower and
keep hitting it. Using an item such as a Pocket Chomp will only hurt
you. Repeat the process until it is defeated.

Hint: Hidden shape(Mario And Luigi: Partners)
Battle six Twacks or Wonder Twacks to see a Star Of David shape. The
shape can also be seen if you look closely in the middle.

Hint: Peach's Castle: Prince Peasley poster
In Peach's Castle (Present), go into the item shop. Walk up to the
counter, and behind the Toad that sells items is a poster of Prince
Peasley from Mario And Luigi: Superstar Saga.

Hint: Defeating Bowser and Baby Bowser
Having lots of Ice Flowers is recommended. Once Baby Bowser uses his
adult form as some sort of hockey item, use your hammer to smash it
back to him, because he will continue to heal his adult form. If you
succeed, Baby Bowser will miss hitting the adult form and he will be
on his own for a small amount of time. Also get Red Peppers to
increase your attack, and perhaps Blue Peppers to increase your
speed. Give the Red Peppers to the adult Mario and Luigi and keep
using Ice Flowers. An alternative is the Green Shell or the Pocket
Chomp. If used correctly, there should be a signal that his defense
has lowered. Continue using Ice Flowers (or if you are out, a Pocket
Chomp or Cannon). You might not defeat him the first time. When he
gets back in his adult form, continue damaging him, then use the
hammers again and continue the process. Once Baby Bowser is
defeated, just repeat the same process with adult Bowser.

Hint: Defeating Princess Shroob
Use Copy Flower or Trampoline on the shield. Once it is broken, use
Mix Flower or a Red Shell because they are most powerful. She will
then attack you with orbs. You must time your jump correctly. She
will then either pull out another shield and attack with lasers and
see if the lasers are pointing up or down. If she does not pull out
another shield, keep hammering her with attacks. Eventually she will
get in her chair and make another shield. She will then attack by
going up and getting four robotic legs. She will jump above one of
your characters and shoot laser rings at one brother. Jump
immediately when the ring reaches the brother's head or lower if you
desired. The princess will get straight and try to sit on you.
Counterattack with your hammer. Sometimes, she will stop her move
directly above the brother, then continue her attack. Heal if needed
and attack. Keep doing this and you will defeat Princess Shroob and
find out why princess peach did not want you to collect the Cobalt
Star Pieces.

Use the following trick to counter Princess Shroob's teleport
attack. When she teleports to all kinds of places and throws a
energy ball at you, jump over them when she teleports in front of
one of the brothers. If she appears in-between the brothers, watch
her hands. When she extends one hand for the energy ball barrage, if
it is her right hand she is attacking Luigi, then Mario; and
vice-versa if she uses her left hand. Sometimes, she will attack
from a ledge up high. If she raises her left hand (facing you) she
is throwing a ball at Mario and Luigi if it is the right hand.

Hint: Stock jackpot Mario And Luigi: Partners
To use the following trick you must have first completed the game
once (because there are only two files). Use the second file to
play, then delete the first file if desired. you need to. When you
start in Bowser's castle, defeat all enemies, hit every "?", "M",
and "L" block, and get a large stock of items (1-up Mushrooms,
regular Mushrooms, and some Mushroom Blocks). Also, you must be a
expert on dodging attacks in order to use less items in battle, also
including a lot of coins. In the first level where you get the first
Star Piece, do the same process like you did in Bowsers castle.
However, when you get to the point where you get the Hammers, you
must get started on collecting beans. Sooner or later you will have
a large amount of Mushrooms, 1-Up Mushrooms, and Drops, as well as
some good Bros. items. On the next area, repeat the process again.
When you reach the part where you are in Yoob's belly, it is best to
search in the pipes like other places. There is a 100 Coin and a
small area where the Yoshis give you items. On the next area (which
has the third Star Piece), you will see some places that cannot be
reached until you learn the Baby Spin. Finally, keep searching every
room and defeat every enemy you encounter. Also, hit every block,
and dig all the beans you can find (which you can tell by the circle
with the X on it). Try to find the best outfits and items and have
enough beans to get the badge that gives you unlimited Bros. items
for no reason (costs 90 Beans).

Hint: More effective Bros. Flowers or Ice Flowers
When using Bros. Flower or Ice Flower, it is a good idea to have the
sound at a good level so you can hear when the fireball or iceball
switches to the other character . Although pressing both Bros. at
once is an easier way to ensure you are always throwing with the
character with the big fireball or iceball, doing this shortens the
time you have to attack. If you only attack with the person with the
fireball or iceball as perfectly as you can. you will gain more
time, allowing more damage and possibly use it up to the maximum
time. All Bros. moves have a maximum time.

Hint: Holli Jolli Village: Santa Clause reference
When you first arrive in Holli Jolli Village go into the Mayor's
house. Hit him out of the chimney and he will look like Santa Clause
and say "Ho Ho!".

Hint: Defeating the first Boss
Wait for the Shroobs to get a Poison Mushroom. The Boss will turn
green. Then, start attacking him. Do not hit him if he is red.

Wait until one of the Shroob doctors gets a Poison Mushroom. Then,
attack the one that has it. Use a Cannon Bros. item. It does 52
damage, and you can defeat the Boss very quickly. Attack him when
green and hold back when he is red.

Glitch: Hammer through wall
Play the level where you must fight Super Hammer Bros 3.0. When you
are by the tree where the area splits in two, go to the right side
then press R and Y. If done correctly, your hammer will be moving
through the wall as you walk. Note: This only happens in areas with
fences on the bottom of the screen.





Hint: Easy coins-[Mario And Luigi: Partners ]
When you are in the Thwomp Volcano, there is a part where you are
supposed to get 30 gems in order to pass. When you finish it, go out
then go in again. Step on the Thwomp and say "Yes" that you want to
play. Get any number of gems, and if you do not get 50 gems you will
get 20 coins. Repeat this to get as many coins as desired. Note: The
game is free.

In Thwomps Volcano, when you first enter the dormant volcano, go
right one screen (which you must do usually). At the area where you
must spin your babies, spin them and only them. Leave the older
Bros. at the top. When the babies get to the bottom, take the older
Bros. back to the beginning of the volcano (left one screen) and get
the babies back with the pipe block. Repeat this process, and each
time you will get 70 coins.

Hint: Double damage jump in Piggyback mode
Jump on an enemy with a Bro. When you would press the big Bros.
button for the action command, press the little Bro. or baby's
button. The baby will jump off and the big Bro. will attack again,
doing double damage.

Hint: Gathering beans(Mario And Luigi: Partners)
After you learn Baby Mario and Luigi's ability to dig underground,
each time you see an small circle with a "X" in it, throw Baby Mario
and Baby Luigi by pressing X or Y. Next, press R then B and B again
to go underground. Move underneath the circle with the "X" in it,
then press B under it and you will receive a bean.

Go to Thwomp Volcano and play the slot machine. Select "Help" before
you play every time, the game will be free.
Glitch: Slow babies -Mario And Luigi: Partners
When going down a large amount of stairs, jump, and have the babies
jump off at the peak of your jump. Do this while still moving. The
game should slow down when the babies are coming down. If done
correctly it should take awhile for them to come down. Note: This
can only be done when climbing to the observatory in Princess
Peach's Castle (past or present), or in the Past Castle when you are
climbing up the staircases in the area shaped like Princess Shroob.
