Unlock the Matilda handgun (which fires 3 round bursts) by clearing the game.

Broken Butterfly Weapon
In the hall south of the hedge maze there is a locked door. Return to that area with Ashley, piggy back with her and she will unlock the door. This reveals the broken butterfly.

In the room where Ashley runs off and gets caught in the wall, you go into the sewers. Once back in the original room a ritual is being held by a leader ganados in a red robe with a few ganados in black robes. If you throw two grenades at the leader ganados and kill him you will get an insignia and for each ganados you will get a spinel.

Extra Costumes (Mercenaries)
Hold button 1 or 2 (or both) when selecting Leon or Ada in Mercenaries Mode to play them in alternate outfits. Leon has 2 extra costumes. Ada has one extra costume.

Get the handcannon

Once you have got 5 stars on every level with every character on mercenaries you will receive the handcannon in the normal game from the merchant. Save your money to upgrade this to exclusive and you will have unlimited ammo, no need to reload and a very powerful weapon which can destroy any boss with ease.

Clean Treasures -[Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition ]
Here is the hint: before shooting a treasure into the dirty well, blast the piece of wood propping up the cover to keep the item clean. This is the only way that Ada will pick up those treasures and it will also ensure a higher value when selling to the merchant.
*** You can accidentally raise the lid once more if you close it by pressing Action. You cannot clost the well once you do so.

Punisher Weapon *Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition*
Shoot 10 of the 15 blue medallions in the game. There is a map you can find in the farm area just beyond the 1st village with the bell tower. After getting the map, the locations of all 15 medallions will show on your map. When you have destroyed at least 10, chat to the merchant for a free gun.

Fast Aiming -Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
There is a faster way to center your gun when aiming up or down. Simply tap the L1 button (takes out your knife) and you will quickly aim straight ahead.

Thompson (Chicago Typewriter)
Win Operation Ada and the "Chicago Typewriter". Doing so will make available a Thompson at the merchant. This Thompson comes with 10.0 firepower, infinite ammo, no reload, and the fire rate of a maxed out TMP. Beating Operation Ada will only unlock the Chicago Typewriter for Ada in her Separate Ways mission and not any other mode. To unlock the Thompson for Leon's mission you need to win the Ada's Separate Ways mission.

How to kill alien salazar in like

Before you go into the room at the top of the tower where ashley was taken make sure to buy a rocket launcher and also a broken butterfly if you dont have one allready and when you go in there just shoot the aliens eye until he goes down and salazar comes out of that:whole..thing and then shoot him with the rocket launcher//i seriously shot the guys eye like 3 times and then killed salazar in like 8 seconds it was crazy

Every time you see a crow shoot it. They can be holding anything from ammo. After you fight the spiky regenerator who has the key card, go into the door on your left at the end of the corridor. As soon as you get outside aim at the metal structure in front of you with the machod gun until it turns red. There will be a few crows there and one will have 10000 pesetas!

Rocket Launcher -Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
To unlock the Rocket Launcher Special you must win the game on Normal and you get a chance too buy the Matilda and the Infinite Launcher. The Matilda is $70,000 and the Infinite Launcher is $1000000.

[Double] Broken Butterfly Ammo
Buy the broken butterfly before you find it, you can hold twice the ammo. The shopkeeper will not sell you this gun if you already have it.

Snake in the Box (Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition)
When you destroy the wooden crates sometimes a snake will jump out and bite you. OUCH! If you keep slashing with your knife when the box breaks you can kill the snake and receive a healing egg.

Unlockable PRL412
Do you know what it is? The P.R.L 412 Weapon is a laser gun with unlimited ammo. You can se it shown briefly in the attract mode if you leave your game running on the start menu. The PRL412 is used by charging up and then releasing bolts of energy into one or many enemies or objects (boxes and barrels can destroyed). Just ready your weapon (hold B) then hold down the A button until the weapon charges to your desired level. Note that the PRL412 only destroys the not-zombies with parasites in them and does not affect enemies without parasites.

Special Costume 2

You will need to clear the game a 2nd time (you must load the once-cleared game file) on Normal or Professional difficulty (the costumes/outfitsare stored separately with each difficulty) for special costume/outfit set 2.

Leon can do hat tricks. You may have to have the Chicago Typewriter weapon equipped to perform these funny actions:

Hat Adjust: Hold the ready weapon button (B) and perform the reload weapon gesture with the Wii Remote. Since this weapon has unlimited ammo Leon will just adjust his hat.

Hat Toss: Hold the ready weapon button (B) and perform a quick DOWN then UP motion with the Wii Remote. This is the more comical of the 2 gestures, but doesn’t always work. you may perform the Hat Adjust move more often.

Ashley will unlock a metal suit of armor that protects her from any damage and prevents enemies from carrying her away. Now you can leave Ashley were ever you desire in the current area without worrying about her being child-napped.

There is one part when Leon must snipe drivers on a tunnel digging machine that threatens to crush Ashley; you can let the machine clip though Ashley, the zombies die, and the gate unlocks for armored Ashley to escape.

Harvest Eggs for $$$ Peseta
Where ever you see chickens running around wait a bit and they’ll lay an egg. Once you collect a couple eggs leave the area and come back. The chickens will lay more eggs each time.
One of the best locations is the area where you 1st see the Blue Medallions and receive the memo from the merchant. That area has 3 cows that are in the pen and 2 in the barn. There are 6 chickens running around in both pens. This one can definitely take some time, but the chickens have all day and seem to lay an endless number of eggs.
White Egg = 300 peseta
Brown Egg = 600 peseta
Golden Egg = 3000 peseta

Maximize Leons Lifebar Tips
This trick incurs many continues, which have no affect on the game's ending. At the 1st El Gigante fight, there is a Yellow Herb in the boss arena. Take this item and combine it with any of the Green Herbs in the same room and use it. This increases Leon's lifebar slightly. Now let the boss kill Leon. Since the boss' room is at a map transition (the green OPEN command is a dead giveaway), this lets you continue right at the boss fight but with Leon's life increase from your previous attempt. Repeating this process will increase Leon's lifebar to maximum prematurely. Extra Yellow Herbs found later can be given to Ashley, or sold to the merchant for money.

Do not Reload Your Gun before upgrade
Whenever you upgrade your gun's capacity it fills the weapon with ammo. So do not reload before you buy the upgrade. This works great with weapons that have very little ammo (such as the magnum revolver 'Broken Butterfly'); after you use up the gun's magazine, simply look for the merchant and upgrade the ammo capacity.

Chicago Typewriter Weapon
Beat Operation Ada, and the "Chicago Typewriter", a Thompson with 10.0 firepower, infinite ammo, no reload, and the fire rate of a maxed out TMP, becomes available at the merchant.
