EA Sports Teams *NHL '97*
To access the 2 secret teams in NHL '97, you must do the following: Go into the credits screen. When the picture of all of the Programmers appear, type pioneer. Let the credits finish and then play in an exhibition game. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of teams in the team select screen and EA Sports 1 and EA Sports 2 will now appear.

Cheat Codes
To activate a cheat, you must enable Cheat mode. Hold [Shift ] and type "WAGD" during the game. Then press one the keys below.

Award a goal to home team -- H
Award a goal to visiting team -- V
Cause injury -- I
End game -- G
End period -- P
Larger players * -- [Shift ] + T
One (or two) minute penalty -- F
Overtime -- O
Five minute penalty against opposing team -- 4
Four minute penalty against opposing team -- 2
Penalty shot against opposing team -- 5
Smaller players * -- T

* Press repeatedly for greater effect.

Alternate Jerseys NHL '97
Some teams have alternate uniforms. To play in them, left-click on the Anaheim, Boston, Los Angles, Pittsburgh or Vancouver logos.
