Add Space Credits (Once Per Game) (Dead Space)

Press START during gameplay.

Input SQUARE, SQUARE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE to add 1000 credits.

Input SQUARE, SQUARE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE to add 2000 more credits.

Input SQUARE, SQUARE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE to add 5000 credits.

Input SQUARE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, to add 10.000 credits.

The above inputs may be used once per game (you can do it again on a New Game Plus).

Item Dupe Mission 3 -Dead Space

This is one of a few places you can exploit the game's placement of items. In mission 3, you are
tasked to restart the Ishimura's engines. On your way to the engine room, there is a node locked door next to a set of malfunctioning, fast shutting doors.
Do not take items from the node locked room, but unlock the door and use the kinesis module to move the items (money, medikit, schematics, ammo) out of the secret room and leave them anywhere on the ground.
Use stasis to bypass the fast-closing doors and go to the end of the hallway to a save point outside the engine room. You do not need to save, just touch the save point. This gets you far enough from the node locked room to duplicate the items.
Travel back to the node locked room (past the fast closing doors) and some of the items in the secret room will be there, as well as the ones you used kinesis to move out last time.
This exploit stops working if you take any of the items (i.e., if you take the medikit, the medikit stops respawning) or when there are too many items on the screen (about 30 or so). If you need more stasis to get by the door, use the "Restore Stasis Energy" code seen on this page.
This exploit works elsewhere in Dead Space where you have preset items and can move far enough away to silent-stream in a new area or map.

Ammo-4-U Dead Space
Tip: Conserving ammunition is vital as you get deeper into the ship. The old exploit from Resident Evil 4 works with the weapons here too.

How to: When you are out of ammo and have a Bench and several Power Nodes, you can refill the ammunition in the weapon to its new maximum by upgrading to a capacity node in that weapon.

Refill Stasis (and Special Ability) Energy
Press START during gameplay.
Input SQUARE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE to refill the stasis (special ability) energy meter. This code has no limit on its number of uses during gameplay.

Keep Your Level 6 Suit for Impossible Game
Start a new game after beating the game once. Buy the unlocked Level 6 Suit. Win the game with a save right before the last boss. Don't save after the credits roll (you can skip them). Start a new game on Impossible and the suit will be equipped!

Random Goodies *Dead Space*
Description: Unlock 10 Power Nodes and 50,000 credits

Purchase the Contact Gun as soon as you can and its ammo will start appearing around the ship. If you can resist using it, just sell all of the ammo you collect for scores of credits 1,000 per unit!

Alien Language Codex [Easter Egg] -Dead Space
Location: In Chapter 6, after fighting the final creature that spills the gas out, there is a dim, flashing sign just before the anti-grav area. This is a codex for some of the letters and all of the numbers in the alien language.

Refill O2 (Dead Space)
Press START during gameplay
Input SQUARE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE to refill oxygen. This code may be used any number of times during play.
