Level select:
Press [Esc] followed by [Ctrl] + L during game play. Select a new level, then press [Return] to begin game play.

Alternate ending:
Type burger during game play.

Alternate self-test:
Press 9 when the computer boots for an alternate self-test display.

Hidden message:
Repeatedly press S during the demonstration sequence, when Germ is eating the player.

Level select:
Press [Esc] + R during game play. Enter a number from 1 through 8 to select that level, or enter $ for additional levels.

Set number of ships:
Execute the following DOS commands.

Hidden feature (cracked version):
Type applefest at the crack screen.

Sound test:
Note: This code requires a Mockingboard sound board. Press one of the following keys at the title screen to hear the corresponding song. Additionally, press 1 through 5 to hear variations of the current song, or press 0 to turn off the music.

Press [Ctrl] + @ during game play to view your character's location.

Sprite editor:
Press [Esc] during the intermission sequences, when the current level is displayed.
