Tug-of-war mode:
Begin a new game and press Start. Highlight the "Load Data" option and move the cursor to the right edge of the highlighted box. Hold Start on controller two and press A on controller one. A tug of war game will be displayed. Press Start on controller one to begin game play. Rapidly tap C on both controllers to play.

Cheat mode:
Hold Start on controller two and quickly press Down, B, Right, Up, C, Left, A on controller one at the Sega logo when the game starts. Complete the code before the Warriors of the Eternal Sun title appears. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Begin game play and press Start to display the options screen. Use the "Specials" selection for a sound test and gold options.
