Cheap shields:
Shields may be purchased for 350 to 400 credits, depending on location. Enter the weapon store and click on "Rapid heal", and click on "Yes" to confirm. Then, instead of continuing by clicking the rapid heal, exit to display a blank space. Click again to find a shield that did not appear previously.

Cheat mode: Enter one of the following names to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Cheat mode:
Enter I walk the hill as a name for player one and Inwards as a name for player two for 99 of each item and unlimited money.

Hint: Finish in top five:
Use the following technique to obtain a good finish in the last set of tracks on the hardest level. Purchase homing missiles while they are selling at a low price. Fire most of them when the race begins to destroy all cars in front, and allow your car to quickly reach first place. Retain this position for the remainder of the race to finish in one of the top positions. This may also be done in two player mode to allow each player to race with each other and no CPU cars.

Unlimited lives:
Pause game play and type pink-floyd-are-gods.

Adjust centrifugal force:
Enter 207L at the top position on the high score screen. A line of white dots will appear to confirm correct code entry. Wait until the next screen is displayed and type [Ctrl] [Alt] z, then hold T. Wait until the next screen appears, then release T. Changing the centrifugal force to zero will allow a quick race by simply using the nitro option.

30,000 fuel units:
Purchase two or more cargo cruisers, fill them up with your current stock of fuel, then place the cruisers into orbit. Purchase a solar satellite, place it into orbit, then remove it from orbit. Enter the cargo control screen and press the "Scrap" icon to decommission the satellite. The fuel level should now be topped out. Note: This may be done on every planet against any opponent.

Level select:
Enter POOKY at the high score screen. Then, hold 1 through 5 to advance to the corresponding level. Click on the "End" option to leave the high score screen, then click through each opening screen that appears while still holding the number key.

Unlimited lives:
Pause game play, hold [Shift] and type ncc, release [Shift], press [Minus], then type 1701.

Unlimited energy:
Load the game and wait until the copy protection screen appears. Enter 8859 as a copy protection code, then enter 1506 as a copy protection code. Finally, enter the correct copy protection code from the manual. Then, press [Help] during game play for unlimited energy.
