Additional missiles:
Press one of the following controller actions, depending on the current level, before meeting the refueling plane:

Level 3, 13, or 16
Press Left + B.

Level 5, 11, or 21
Press Right + B.

Level 9 or 19
Press B.

Cheat mode:
Enter the mission selection screen. Move the pointer over the map to a location that is not a mission area. Hold Start, press A, B, C, B, A(2), B, C, B, A, B, and release Start. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Move the pointer over a mission area and hold one of the following buttons to fight that opponent. Note: The button(s) must be held until the mission starts.

Fighter Ace
Hold A. For invincibility, hold Start + A.

Super Carrier
Hold B. For invincibility, hold Start + B.

Last Fighter
Hold C. For invincibility, hold Start + C.

Cheat mode:
Press A, C, A, C, A, C, A, C, B(4) at the options screen. Cheat options such as level select, invincibility, and "freezability" (press Start to pause) will appear.

Skip rock-scissors-paper sequences:
Approach any boss and wait until the conversation ends. Press Start to display the options screen, then press Start again to resume game play.

Level skip:
Press C, Up, Right, Down, Left, A, Right on controller two at the options screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Pause game play and press C, A, B. The screen will fill with green dots. Press Start to jump to the next level.
