Cat:
Start a new game and go into Atrus' study. Click on everything in the room that resembles a pepper shaker. When this has been done, link to J'nanin. Use the light reflectors and reflect the light over to the green and red reflectors. Go across the island to the green and red reflectors. Turn the green reflector so the light reflects to the red one. Go up the stone steps to the red reflector. Stay here, and do not move forward yet. The red reflector reflects the light in two different directions -- over to the yellow reflector, and onto a big rock that is directly in front of it. You should be facing this rock now. Reflect the light on the rock. Hold ~ and click forward once (toward the rock). If done correctly, you will see a projection of the face of a cat named Pepper. He belongs to one of the programmers.

Hint: Bad endings:

Do what he says and switch the shields.
Link back to Tomahna without Releeshahn.
Turn off the power, then turn it back on.
Talk to him but do not go anywhere.
Talk to him, leave, repeat (do not do anything other than that).

Hint: Fireplace-puzzle in parents' bedroom:
There is an incomplete "chessboard" in the fireplace-elevator, which takes you down to the two books. Number the fields on the incomplete "chessboard", starting at the bottom far left corner, going left to right: 1 to 8. Then for the next row: 9 to 16, and continue the pattern with 48 in the top far right corner. Note: Try pressing: 9-34-6-16-30-19-20.

Hint: Serenia:
Serenia is, graphically, the most incredible aspect of this game. Create a save point in Atrus' Library. You will want to visit and re-visit Serenia. Earth, Air, Fire and Water, and you will be a different Child if you keep going through. The best part is where you finally get into Dream. Note: To Harmonize The Ancestors, ask yourself where do all colors begin? Note: In order to get to a new version of Serenia, you must restart the game. It is easy enough to take shortcuts through Haven. You must at least go through Haven, then Link back.

Level select:
Hold [Command] + [Space] and choose the "New Game" selection. Alternatively, hold [Space] and choose the "New Game" selection.

Win level:
Hold [Ctrl] and press [Keypad Plus] during game play in single player mode to successfully complete the current level.

Lose level:
Hold [Ctrl] and press [Keypad Minus] during game play in single player mode.

Preview multi-player levels:
Hold [Space] and select the multi-player (internet) option. Any multi-player map may be explored without connecting to BungieNet.

Kill townspeople:
Hold [Command] + [Shift] + [Option] and click on a towns person.

Super character:
Name a character Superman to become almost invincible under the easiest difficulty setting.

Taunt opponents:
Select a unit to modify, then press T during game play. At random times, a cheer will be heard.

Hint: Trailer trash:
Begin game play on level 2, "A Traitor's Grave". Move to the far lower right of the map to find a man standing next to a trailer surrounded by beer bottles and listening to county music.

Level select:
Hold [Left Shift] while selecting the "New Game" option. Any level except for "Limbs, Heads And Smoking Craters" or "A Long Awaited Drinking Party" may be selected for game play.

Kill animals:
Hold [Command] + [Shift] + [Option] and click on an animal.
