Bonus cars:
Hold Start and highlight either Toyota or Mazda at the car manufacturer selection screen and press Gas to select it. If you selected Toyota, the Mecha Tuned Trueno, Turbocharged Levin, and the Levin and Trueno SRs will be unlocked. If you selected Mazda, the Tuned FC3S RX7 and Tuned FD3S RX-7 will be unlocked.

Disable boost:
Start a game with up to three other human players. All players must select battle mode. Hold View Change simultaneously and press the Gas Pedal. The default boost is now disabled. The lead car will now handle normally, and the trailing cars will not get speed boosts to catch up.

Special Expert mode course:
Do not insert your coin(s) yet. First, set the Effector Down, Up, Down, Up, Down (from left to right). Insert your coin(s), hold Effect + VEFX button and press Start. You can now select the Special course in Expert mode.

Bonus stage:

4 Stars: All "Just Greats"
5 Stars: All "Greats" or "Just Greats"
6 Stars: 100% on the groove meter
7 Stars: Successfully complete the song
Flashing 7 Stars: Successfully complete the song

All music mode:
Insert your coin(s), then slowly rotate the Player One Turntable one full circle clockwise at the title screen while pressing Player One Bottom Right, Player One Top Right, Player One Top Right, Player One Bottom Center, Player One Bottom Center, Player One Top Left, Player One Bottom Left, Player One Bottom Center, Player One Bottom Center, Player Two Top Right, Player Two Bottom Center, Player One Bottom Left. Press Start for either player, then choose normal or hard mode. All songs will be unlocked.

Mirror mode:
Insert your coin(s), then press Player Two Bottom Left two times, tap Player Two Bottom Left three times, press Player Two Bottom Left, and tap Player Two Bottom Left. Then, press Player One Start.
