Police car run:
Hold Start + View + Brake + Accelerate while choosing a transmission at the selection screen. After selecting a transmission, press Start + View + Brake + Accelerate. If done correctly, a police car will run around the track in the opposite direction.

Bird attack:
Select the Highland Raceway track in reversed mode. A flock of birds will attack your car. Turn around and drive in the other direction and birds will remain on your car.

Glitch: Fast first gear:
Begin game play with a manual transmission. Enter the pits while in sixth gear. If done correctly, the game will shift your car into first gear and allow you to drive over 200 mph without shifting out of first.

Normal course for customization:
Note: This feature is only available in version 2 games. Get to the screen for choosing the options for customization. You can select the ''normal'' one instead of A, B, C or D. by steering to the left as far as possible in remaining in that position until the ''normal'' one appears.

Toggle challenges:
Press Start during a race to toggle the ability to accept or decline challenges. Note: This feature is only available in version 2 games.

GC8V car:
Enter the car manufacturer selection screen in a version 2 game, then press Shift Up, Shift Up, Shift Down, Shift Down, Shift Up, Shift Down, Shift Up, Shift Down, then hold Brake and press View Change. The sound of an engine will confirm correct code entry. Select the Subaru option to access the GC8V car.

Bunta's Impreza:
Enter the car selection screen, then press Shift Down, Shift Down, Shift Up, Shift Up, Shift Down, Shift Up, Shift Down, Shift Up, then hold Brake and press View Change. Scroll down to Subaru and you should see "New" next to one of the Imprezas, indicating that it has been unlocked. Note: This feature is only available in version 2 games.

Disable boosts in multi-player:
Have player one and player two hold Brake before a race starts to disable boost.

Extra points:
Win three consecutive times against a human opponent to get a 9,000 point bonus. Note: This feature is only available in version 2 games.

White Aura:
Win 10 consecutive battle races.

Rainbow Aura:
Win 20 consecutive battle races.

Fight as Dio:
Highlight "Alessy" at the character selection screen and press Start. Highlight "D'Bo" and press Start. Highlight "Chaca" and press Start. Highlight "Milder" and press Start(3). A hand and pencil will draw Dio's icon to confirm correct code entry.

Fight as Shadow Dio:
Unlock Dio, then highlight him and press Start(10).

Fight as Young Joseph:
Highlight "Jotaro" at the character selection screen and press Start. Highlight "Polnareff" and press Start. Highlight "Joseph" and press Start. Highlight "Kakyoin" and press Start. Highlight "Iggi" and press Start. Highlight "Avdol" and press Start. Highlight "Joseph" again and Young Joseph will eventually appear.

Turbo mode:
Note: This can be done in single player and two player mode. Select a fighter, then hold Right on joystick one and two and press Quick Punch + Middle Punch + Fierce Punch. Hold those buttons until the pre-fight match screen is displayed. Release the buttons after the second "swoosh" sound. Note: The faster speed is only effective for one match.

Fight as Eyedol:
Select Riptor as a character, then hold Left and press Quick Punch + Quick Kick. When the versus screen appears, quickly hold Right and press Medium Punch + Fierce Punch + Fierce Kick. The name "Eyedol" will be spoken to confirm correct code entry.

Small players:
Note: This requires ROM versions 1.4 and earlier. Select a stage with a platform and select Fulgore as a character. Push your opponent to the edge of the platform, execute a combo, and end it with the teleport (Back, Down, Down/Back + Fierce Kick). Press Start to reduce your opponent's size.

Random fighter:
Hold Up and press Start at the character selection screen.

Fight as Gargos:
Hold Up and press Fierce Punch, Medium Punch, Medium Kick, Fierce Kick, Medium Punch, Quick Punch, Quick Kick, Medium Kick at the character selection screen.

Random fighter:
Hold Up and press Start at the character selection screen.

Faster game:
Select two player mode, then press Down + Medium Punch or Medium Kick before selecting a fighter at the character selection screen.

Fastest game:
Select two player mode, then press Down + Fierce Punch or Fierce Kick before selecting a fighter at the character selection screen.

Reset speed to normal:
Select two player mode, then press Down + Quick Punch or Quick Kick before selecting a fighter at the character selection screen.

Stage and music select:
Select two player mode, then enter one of the following codes after selecting a fighter at the character selection screen. The first player to enter the code will select the stage, while the second player to enter the code will select the music.

Press Down + Fierce Kick.

Spinal's Ship
Press Down + Medium Kick.

Dojo
Press Down + Quick Kick.

Bridge
Press Down + Quick Punch.

Museum
Press Up + Medium Kick.

Jungle
Press Up + Medium Punch.

Select victory pose:
Press a Punch or Kick button immediately after winning a match.

Alternate costume colors:
Press D when selecting a fighter on the character selection screen.

Preview power use:
Hold Start while choosing your fighter order and a face will appear over each person. If the face is neutral, your power will get passed on. If the face is smiling, your power will get passed on, with one additional one. If the face is angry, you will lose your power.
