No CPU drivers:
Note: This can only be done in versus mode. Enter the car selection or song selection menu. Have all players press Change View + Shift Down simultaneously. A message reading "Real players only" will appear to confirm correct code entry.

No handicap mode:
Note: This can only be done in versus mode. Enter the car selection or song selection menu. Have all players press Brake + Shift + Up simultaneously. A message reading "No handicap" will appear to confirm correct code entry.

Quit race:
Completely stop your car during a race. Hold Brake + Change View + Shift Up. A confirmation message will appear. Select the "Yes" option to end the game. Note: If you select "No" and resume the race you cannot try to quit again during the current game. Additionally, this cannot be done when there is less than 0:08 remaining on the timer.

Alternate car color:
Hold Brake at the car selection screen, then use the Shift to select a new color.

Original Outrun 2 tracks:
Press View Change at the mode selection screen.

Change music volume:
Hold Brake at the song selection screen.

Additional songs:
Press View Change at the song selection screen.

Skip countdown in networked game:
Insert the coin(s) and press Start on a machine networked to others. If a countdown appears waiting for other players to join appears, hold View Change + Brake to immediately skip to "0".

Force single player mode:
Hold View Change + Brake while inserting your coin(s) in a networked machine.

Quit game:
Slow down in single player mode until your car is traveling less than 10km/h. Then, hold Brake + View Change and Downshift. Select "Yes" to quit the game.

No CPU cars:
Hold View Change and Shift up and down at the car selection screen, song selection screen, or network countdown screen in versus mode. The "Real Players Only" option will remove all CPU controlled racers. Note: All other participants in the networked game must do the same.

No lead handicap:
Hold Brake and Shift up and down at the car selection screen, song selection screen, or network countdown screen in versus mode. The "No Handicap" option will removes the handicap given to the lead car. Note: All other participants in the networked game must do the same.

Hidden options:
Hold Song Select 1 + Song Select 2 and press OK. Release Song Select 1 + Song Select 2 when options for ''Hi-speed mode'', ''Hidden mode'', ''Sudden mode'', and ''Shuffle mode'' appear. Press OK next to an option to select it.

Bonus character:
Highlight a song at the selection screen then repeatedly press Up, Up/Right, Right, Up, Up/Left, Left.

High speed mode:
Hold Left + Right when selecting a song.

Fight as Kaede:
Highlight Rain at the character selection screen. Then, press Down, Down, Left, Left, Up.

Fight as Rai-On:
Highlight Byakko at the character selection screen. Then, press Up, Down, Left, Left, Right, Left, Up.

Fight as Evil Gamof:
Highlight Gamof at the character selection screen. Then, hold Start and press A or B.

Play as Akuma:
Highlight Ryu at the character selection screen, then press Left. Akuma will appear to the right of Ryu.

Play as Dan:
Highlight Ken at the character selection screen, then press Right. Dan will appear to the right of Ken.

High speed mode:
Select a song, then hold both Blue buttons when the song information appears. Release the buttons when the screen disappears.

Mirror mode:
Select a song, then hold both Green buttons when the song information appears. Release the buttons when the screen disappears.

Double mode:
Press 192837465, using the key layout as follows:

    2 4 6 8
    1 3 5 7 9

Big head mode:
Hold Punch + Kick + Jump for approximately thirty seconds.

Alternate Wangtan appearance:
Hold Punch + Kick + Jump + Up at the character selection screen. Transform during game play to have a blue Wangtan.

Alternate costumes:
Highlight a fighter at the character selection screen, then press 1 + 2, 1 + 3, or 1 +4.

Hidden bowling game:
This is available only in two player mode, on any stage. Both players must play as Armadon and perform the Spinning Death (1 + 3, Away, Toward, Down) move simultaneously three times in a row (colliding). If done correctly, both players and their worshippers will walk off screen for a bowling game. Humans are used as pins, and the players bowl themselves by using the Spinning Death move.

Mirrored steps:
Press Top Left, Bottom Left, Top Right, Bottom Right, Center at the song selection screen.

Play single player version of song:
Press Top Left, Top Right, Top Left, Top Right, Center at the song selection screen.
