Battle Steps and Edit Data modes:
Press Down(2) at the difficulty selection screen in versus mode (for Battle Steps) or any other mode (for Edit Data). Note: Press Up(2) to return to normal.

Mirror mode:
Press Up, Left, Right, Left, Right at the difficulty selection screen. Repeat the code to return to normal mode.

Shuffle mode:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, Up at the difficulty selection screen. Repeat the code to return to normal mode.

Edit data:
Press Right(2) at the song selection screen.

Mirror mode:
Press Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right at the song selection screen. Repeat the code to return to normal.

Shuffle mode:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, Right, Left at the song selection screen. Repeat the code to return to normal.

SSR and Another modes:
Press Down(2) at the song selection screen for SSR mode. Repeat the code for Another mode. Repeat the code again to return to normal.

Basic and Another modes:
Press Up(2) at the song selection screen for Basic mode. Repeat the code for Another mode. Repeat the code again to return to normal.

Left mode:
Press Left(8) at the song selection screen.

Right mode:
Press Right(8) at the song selection screen.

Unlock songs:
Note: This code can only be done by an arcade operator. Open the machine's cabinet and press Service to enter test mode. Select "Clear Points", then choose "Game Options". Hold Down for player one and hold Service. Press Start for player one. Select "Append", then enter one of the following codes. Enter FQEOVXT-KCURWWJ as a code. The Absolute, Abyss, DXY !, Electro Tuned (the SubS mix), I Was The One, Mr. T. (Take Me Higher), Radical Faith, Sana Molette Na Ente, and The Cube songs will be unlocked.

Test mode:
Note: This trick requires a machine with the operator menu unlocked. Enter the operator menu. Highlight the "Game Mode" option, then hold down Player 1 Down + Service + Player 1 Start. Select the "Append" option and enter one of the codes that normally entered at the "Test Mode" screen. Then, hold Player 1 Left + Player 1 Right and press Player 1 Start.

Alternate song sort:
Press Left + Right at the song selection screen to cycle through various sort options.

Right mode:
Press Right eight times at the song selection screen.

Left mode:
Press Left eight times at the song selection screen.

Upside down mode:
Press Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down at the song selection screen.

Reverse mode:
Press Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right at the song selection screen.

Shuffle mode:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right at the song selection screen.

Hidden mode:
Press Left, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right at the song selection screen.

Sudden mode:
Press Left, Up, Right, Left, Up, Right at the song selection screen.

Little mode:
Press Left, Down, Up, Down, Right, Down, Down at the song selection screen.

Return to normal mode:
Press Down four times at the song selection screen.

Increase difficulty setting:
Press Down three times at the mode selection screen while under the basic or trick difficulty setting to change to the trick or maniac difficulty setting.

Decrease difficulty setting:
Press Up three times at the mode selection screen while under the trick or maniac difficulty setting to change to basic or trick difficulty setting.

Maniac ultimate difficulty setting:
Select the maniac difficulty setting, then press Up/Left, Up/Right, Up/Left, Up/Right. Expert and nonstop megamix modes will be more difficult.

Configuration menu:
Quickly press Left, Right, Left, Right at the song selection screen to access "Speed", "Arrows", "Turn" and more options.

Private mode:
On a linked machine, hold Down on both arrows and press Start. Other machines may not join in the game.
