Mega Man Battle Network 4 Cheat Codes

ABA ball:
Press Right, Right, Shoot, Turbo, Pass at the Tonight's Matchup screen.

Big head mode:
Press Up, Turbo, Pass at the Tonight's Matchup screen.

Huge head mode:
Press Up, Pass, Turbo at the Tonight's Matchup screen.

Display shot percentage:
Rotate the Joystick clockwise one full circle at the Tonight's Matchup screen.

Alternate Dennis Rodman's hair color:
Press Pass at the team selection screen.

Tank mini-game:
Hold all buttons for all four players and press Down on all four Joysticks at the "Tonight's Match-up" screen. Keep the controls held until the mini-game begins.

Big head mode:
Hold Up + Turbo + Steal at the "Tonight's Match-up" screen.

No CPU assistance:
Press Turbo ten times at the "Tonight's Match-up" screen. Note: This can only be done on v3.0 machines.

Power-up defense:
Press Steal eight times or Block eight times at the "Tonight's Match-up" screen.

Power-up interceptions:
Hold Down position and hold all buttons for player one at the "Tonight's Match-up" screen.

Power-up offense:
Press Steal twenty one times or Block twenty one times at the "Tonight's Match-up" screen.

Display shot percentage:
Rotate the Joystick and press any button twenty one times at the "Tonight's Match-up" screen.

Bonus characters: Enter the following initials and birthdates to unlock the corresponding character.

Keep record screen codes:
The following codes are entered on the keep record screen. They are entered one pair of letters at a time. Enter the first pair, backspace twice, and enter the next pair and repeat until the code is complete. A sound and a flash will confirm correct code entry. At this point, you can enter a normal record entry.

Start at playoffs
Enter PL, AY, OF, FS.

Start at finals
Enter FI, NA, LS.

Start with 2-0 playoff record
Enter CH, EE, SY.

Start with 3-0 finals record
Enter NO, VI, CE.

Go to the Shootout for 45 seconds before game
Enter SH, OO, TO, UT.

Sound test mode
Enter KA, ZO, O. Sound test will appear just before the team select screen allowing the music and sounds from the game to be played.

Pre-game codes:
Begin the following controller actions on the select screen and completing them on the Vs. screen. The final action of the code should be completed on the Vs. Screen to activate the cheat. A sound effect and picture of a player will appear at the bottom of the screen to confirm correct code entry.

Display shot percentage
Hold Extreme + Shoot.

Permanent Turbo
Hold Turbo and press Up, Down, Up, Down.

No turbo meters
Hold Turbo + Extreme and press Up, Down, Up, Down.

No crowd
Hold Extreme + Pass + Up.

Tip-off codes:
Enter the following codes before the tip-off during the time the referee walks out and throws the ball in the air. Text will appear to confirm correct entry of some of the codes. Note: entry of a code effects all players in the game. On codes with multiple button presses, entry of a button too many times will disable the code from entry by other players.

No CPU assistance
Press Extreme, Turbo, Pass(2). The phrase "computer assistance off" will appear to confirm correct code entry.

Play with beach ball
Press Pass(2), Turbo, Extreme, Turbo, Pass(2). The ball will change to a beach ball (three times normal size and flies at half speed) at tip-off.

Play with soccer ball
Press Pass(2), Turbo(3), Extreme(3). The ball will change to a soccer ball at tip-off.

Maximum rebound stat for every player
Press Pass(2), Extreme, Special, Extreme, Turbo.

Maximum steal/block stat for every player
Press Pass(3), Turbo(3), Extreme(3), Pass(3).

Maximum three points stat for every player
Press Pass(8), Extreme, Pass(7).

Maximum dunk and three points stat for every player
Press Turbo(5), Pass, Extreme, Turbo(6).

Maximum speed stat for every player
Press Extreme(10), Pass(3).

Goaltending allowed
Press Extreme(8), Pass, Extreme(9).

Power push
Press Turbo(2), Pass(2), Turbo(2), Pass(2), Turbo(2), Pass(2), Turbo(2). Opposing players will be pushed three times as far across the floor.

High arc shots
Press Turbo(5), Pass(2), Turbo(6).

Dribble codes:
Enter the following codes during game play:

Dribble demo
Quickly press Pass, Turbo, Extreme.

Dribble under feet
Quickly press Turbo(2).

Dribble behind back
Quickly press Extreme(2).

Big feet:
Hold Left or Right when exiting the Big Head selection screen.

Short players with big heads:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, then hold Up and select the "Yes" option on the big head selection screen.

Hidden mini-game:
In a four-player game, hold Up + Extreme on all four D-pads when exiting the select screen. A four-player game called Head-er-oids will begin.

Marshmallow treats:
Hold Up on all D-pads just before the screen dims at the end of the title sequence.

Hidden team select:
Press Down + Turbo to make the cursor and team choices disappear while they are being selected.

Random team select:
Press Up + Turbo at the team selection screen.

Random player select:
Press Up + Turbo after selecting a random team.

Hidden stats:
Press Left + Extreme on the team select screen to toggle the stats display for each player.

Joke screen:
Hold L1 + R1 and enter the initials YME and the date May 17.

Hidden teams:
Hold L1 + R1 and enter the following initials and dates:

Quick players:
Press any button five times, then hold Down as the match-up screen fades.

Quick hands:
Hold Down and press Shoot five times, then keep Down held and hold Shoot until the tip-off.

Baby mode:
Hold Down/Right and press Turbo, Shoot, Steal, Turbo, Shoot, Steal, Turbo, Shoot, Steal at the match-up screen.

Big heads:
Hold Up + Turbo + Pass as the match-up screen fades.

Huge heads:
Press Up three times, then hold Turbo + Pass and press Shoot six times at the match-up screen.

Maximum power:
Hold Down and press Turbo + Shoot + Pass + Start at the match-up screen.

Bigger roster:
Hold Down and press Pass three times at the player selection screen, then rotate the Joystick three full circles and press Pass.

Shot percentage meter:
Rotate the Joystick in a full circle and press Turbo + Shoot + Pass seven times at the match-up screen.

Power-up goaltending:
Press Turbo, Shoot, or Pass twenty four times at the match-up screen.

Tournament mode:
Hold Right + Turbo + Shoot + Pass at the match-up screen until the tip-off.

Maximum power:
Hold Down + Turbo + Shoot + Pass + Start until the tip-off.

Change teams:
Hold Pass and press Right at the player substitution screen.
