Cheat mode:
Press Start at the "Press Start" screen. Highlight the "Options" selection, then press Down to highlight an invisible option. Press X to display the debug menu, with options stage selection, sound test, Ed and Al's experience, event flags, special attack, and fever/fighting frenzy modes. Note: Hold L2 + R2 + L1 + R1 + Start + Select to reset the game if your selected options cause you to become stuck.

Cheat mode (beta version):
Press Start on controller two to display the cheat menu.

Completion bonus:
Successfully complete the game and save when prompted. Load the saved game file to begin with your level, items, and accessories from the previous game.

Hint: Full ammunition:
When you transmute a weapon that can be leveled up (for example, the shurikens, gauntlets, bombs, etc.), if you use all its ammunition except for one, unequip the item. Level it up and its ammunition will be restore.

Play as Alex Louis Armstrong:
Collect the treasure chest in the arena during the first battle against the Earth Guardian in story mode. Give the chest to Sofi to unlock Alex Louis Armstrong in Tag Battle mode.

Play as Roy Mustang:
Collect the treasure chest in the arena during the first battle against the Fire Guardian in story mode. Give the chest to Sofi to unlock Roy Mustang in Tag Battle mode.

Hint: Prevent deaths:
When you start an objective and a few of your men die the game prompts you to press X to load from last save. Then it asks you to press Circle to begin a replay at last save point. Press Circle and you can fast forward the replay. Just before your men die on the replay, press Start. Scroll down the pause menu and select "Jump into replay". Then, stop your men from entering enemy territory.

Hint: Marking enemies:
This trick will help you through most of your missions by marking your enemies. Press R2 to bring up your GPS at any time then press Square. You will hear a woman's voice, and after about a minute she will mark the targets on your GPS. Be very careful, as there are some people that she cannot find.

Press Select, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right at the main menu.

Hidden skin 2:
Press Select, Left(2), Right(2), Left(2), Right(2), Left(2), Right(2) at the main menu.

Hint: Blood:
Shoot all of the rabbits in Fur Fighter Village. The "Cheat Discovered" message will appear. In this mode, stuffing will appear when enemies are shot.

Hold L1 + L2 and press Down, Square, Triangle, Down, Square, Triangle, Circle, X, R2, Right, Select during game play. The screen will flash blue to confirm correct code entry.
