Control loading screen:

Press Circle to increase the wind as it flutters the level name on the loading screen before a battle. Press X to decrease the wind speed.

Start with additional characters:

Start the game with a memory card with a saved game from Dynasty Warriors 2. Some characters unlocked in Dynasty Warriors 2 will be available in your new game.

Hint: Lu Xun's special item:
Play as Lu Xun at the Yi Ling level under the hard difficulty setting . Kill Wei Yan as soon as possible to make his army retreat. When the intermission sequence of you saying that Zhuge Liang is not here plays, your officer will begin to make his fire attack. Look at message history for the exact location. Make sure that he sets the camp alight by killing any resistance, then kill off everything in the Stone Maze Trap, kill Zhuge Liang, and a special item can be found to the northeast of the Stone Maze Trap. Get it and complete the level. This weapon adds Speed +22, Musou Gage +75, Defense +43, and Radius +29.
