Successfully complete the game with 100% of the scans. Completing adventure mode without the 100% ending will result in a blue spiral icon next to your hunter's license rank.

Suitless Samus:
Get a 100% game completion in each file.

Record Table option:
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Record Table option at the main menu. Select it to view the best Adventure Mode times, total time played, and final Boss times.

Sound Test option:
Defeat Gorea's second phase.

Get the indicated number of points by winning WiFi matches to reach the indicated rank.

Expert mode:
Successfully complete Multi-Mission mode and view the credits. "Expert mode" will now be unlocked at the options menu.

Display game password:
Press B at the "Press Start" screen to display your last bounty. Press Select to display a long password that that represents your game status. The password will be used in online contests.

Outer Space level:
Unlock all Drillers by completing all levels in mission mode to unlock the Outer Space level. Note: This is an endless level. In the European version of the game, successfully complete "The Moon" level in mission mode.

Endless Tokyo Dristone Driller level:
Complete Dristone Driller to unlock Tokyo as an endless level.

South Pole level (European version):
Successfully complete all levels except Outer Space in mission mode. Note: This is an endless level.

Play as Anna with Holinger-Z:
Complete the China level in Mission Driller mode.

Play as Usagi (Japanese version):
After all other characters are unlocked complete the 2000m Moon level again as Ataru. A black rabbit (Usagi) will appear on the top screen. Successfully complete the stage to unlock Usagi as the middle character on the selection screen.

Mirror time attack mode:
Complete levels A through J in time attack mode.

Mr. Driller Badge:
Successfully complete a Mission Driller mode level without using any items or losing a life. Note: The Outer Space level does not have a badge since it is endless.

Alternate title screen:

Earth in Mission Driller mode.
Moon in Mission Driller mode.
Japan in Time Attack Driller mode.
Reverse Japan in Time Attack Driller mode.
