Mario
Feather: Jump three times to make Mario fly.
Flower: Make mario inflate and float slowly; handles easier than the feather.
Note: Mario is just the basic character with no special abilities.
Yoshi
Flower: Makes Yoshi's mouth full of flame and can breath fire. If you ever see fire, such as in the basement, you can eat it and can spit fire once.
Note: Kump and hold it for about a second. Yoshi will with kick his feet (faster than Luigi) and hover for about two seconds.
Luigi
Flower: Makes Luigi invincible to most things. He can go through screens and other objects.
Note: Luigi can run on water for a short time. Also, if you jump and hold it, he kicks his feet fast and falls slower. If you try to do a triple jump with Luigi it can be more difficult -- if you hold it for about one second, he kicks and you will not be able to finish the triple jump.
Wario
Flower: Metal Wario; he is invincible and can stay underwater.
Note: Wario is the slowest character. He also lacks jumping skills, but he is the best at Ground Pounds. He can break black bricks.

Hint: Bomb-Omb Battlefield: Extra lives:
Select mission 4 to get the most amount of lives that you can get at once. When you start, either run up the path where you meet the Chain Chomp, or get in the cannon and shoot yourself to where the bridge ends. If you run up the path, continue past the Chain Chomp and go over the bridge. Jump onto the higher level of the ground. Go over to the two brick blocks to the left then destroy the left one. A mushroom should appear. Grab the mushroom to turn big. Continue up the path, destroying enemies, signs, balls, blocks, etc. When you hit the number 7 you should get a 1-Up for everything else you destroy. Repeat this process to get as many lives as desired.

Hint: Stop the clock level:
To stop the clock level on the third floor of the castle, jump in at exactly 12 o'clock.

Hint: Wet Dry World: Flood:
After getting the key from the second Bowser, go upstairs and walk through the door that leads to the room with all the pictures. Stop when you get through it and look around. In front of you is a picture of a spider. It is Wet Dry World. To flood it, jump very high into the picture. If you time the triple jump extremely well, you will flood Wet Dry World.

Hint: Wet Dry World: No water:
This trick is very similar to the "Wet Dry World: Flood" hint. The only difference is, instead of jumping high into the picture, jump very low into it. You should try to jump directly into the bottom of the picture.

Hint: Extra lives in third Bowser battle:
Walk behind the top left pillar to collect an extra life if you lose a life during the battle.

Hint: Alternate Mario or Yoshi introduction drawings:

Touch Mario the first time for a front portrait
Touch Yoshi the first time for a side portrait
Touch Mario a second time for a side portrait
Touch Yoshi a second time for a side portrait with a heart
Touch Mario a third time for a side portrait of Luigi with an "!".
Touch Yoshi a third time for a side portrait with a star.
It then cycles again.

Double Jump: This requires timing. When standing still, press B to jump. Just as you land, jump again. You should go higher. Note: It will not work a third time.
Triple Jump: You must be moving. Do the same thing as the Double Jump, but time it correctly one more time to do a super high jump.
Triple Jump Dive: Perform the Triple Jump, then press A.
Ledge Grabbing: When you grab a ledge quickly press B to get up or R to descend.
Tree Climbing: When climbing on a tree, hold Y to accelerate up. When at the top of the tree, do not move then press Up. You will do a hand stand on top of the tree. Press B to go flying high into the air. Note: This is useful for places that you cannot reacy by foot.
Power Dunk: When in mid-air at almost any time, press R. Mario will stop in mid-air for a full second, curl up, then descend at a good speed directly downward. This is useful for boxes that need smashing.
Crawling: Hold R and press in any direction to crawl. Crawling works best in small narrow spaces where it is easy to fall.
Super Backflip Somersault: Hold R and make sure you are crouching, then jump. You can maneuver slightly while in the air.
Super Hop: Long jump when needed to get to the other side of a gap. Run or jog, then hold R and jump.
Wall Jumping: Jump on a wall at a certain angle. Mario will slide down the wall. Press B to jump very high off of the wall.

Control title screen:
On the title screen, before you press Start, tap the different worlds on the main map with your stylus. They should show their animation as if you were entering them in the game. The sky also changes depending on the time of day on the system clock..

Hint: Level 8-6:
Collect all the Toads in each area.

Hint: Defeating Boos:
Ghosts fear the light. Use Rage and touch the Boo with your flames. This should scare him off. Note: This does not work on Big Boos or the blind-folded Boos.

Hint: Defeating Bowser:
During phase one Bowser should sic the angry leader of the HammerBros. on you. Just hit him with Perry or throw other HammerBros. at him. During phase two, Bowser attacks you himself. Dodge his flames and hammers. To hit him, use Rage and touch him with your flames for several seconds. Each time you hit him, he changes his Vibes to change his attack pattern. To get more Vibe Energy, get him to ram himself at the Bowser statues on either side of the battlefield. The smashed statue should drop a large Blue Crystal. Note: To jump over Bowser easier, you can bounce off his head. You can also stand on the Bowser statues. During phase three, Bowser should grow giant. Dodge his attacks, and eventually he will slam both his claws down, dropping Bomb-ombs from the sky. Note: Avoid his claws when he moves them. You can get hit by them. To hit Bowser, pick up a Bomb-omb and hold it until it starts blinking. Stand underneath his head, then throw the Bomb-omb upward with perfect timing so that it explodes on his nose. Try throwing it immediately when it beeps for the seventh time. Every time you hit him, his attack pattern changes. When he gets down to one hit remaining, the Vibe Scepter should float up and a pastel-purple bubble will appear around Bowser's head. This is Bowser using Calm to recover his HP. To stop him, attack the bubble several times with Perry by jumping and using Y or B.

Hint: Defeating DryBones:
No matter how many times you jump off a DryBones' head, it will keep re-building itself. To get rid of it, throw something at it or stand next to it and use Joy or Rage.

Hint: Opening capsules easily:
When you see the flying balls that drop coins when you throw something at them, you do not have to find something to throw. It is much easier to stand underneath it and use Rage.

Glitch: Float in lava:
Jump above a pit of lava and get hit by an opponent while in the air. As long as Peach is still blinking, Perry should become a boat as if you landed in regular water.

Cowabunga message:
Press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A at the title screen. The turtles yell "Cowabunga!".
