Super laser:
Hold Up/Left + A + B and power on the NES. Continue to hold those buttons, then press Select, Start. Press Select during game play to enable the super laser.

Full weapons:
Press Select(10) at the title screen. Then, hold Down/Right on controller two and press Up, Left, A, B, Start(2) on controller one. Press Select to switch between the five shot weapon and the laser.

Mega Man 2 Cheat Codes

Level select:
Enter OVERRIDE as a password and begin game play. Then, press Up as Captain Picard describes a mission.

Sound test:
Enter WHOOSH as a password. Use the D-pad and A on controller two to hear sounds from the game.

Mega Man 2 Cheat Codes
Instant Borg defeat: Travel to the indicated coordinates, then hold A + B and press Select. The sound of an explosion will confirm correct code entry.

Alternate ship:
Successfully complete the game and play again.

Level 5:
Enter 747 Mhz as a frequency code.

NES robot:
The robot in Sub-C, Nav-Com is actually the NES robot that is packaged with the NES Deluxe Set.

Warp speed:
Select a course from the information screen and return to the main menu. Hold B until the speed meter is one mark below maximum, then release the button. Hold B when the warp meter is the same as the warp distance gauge. The screen will turn blue as the warp begins. Release B when the gauge returns to zero.

Hint: Advance to Death Star:
Shoot the third Greedo in the Cantina. Quickly run to the wall to the right to enter a warp to the Death Star.

Hint: Extra lives:
Find the wall in Obi Wan's cave that appears slightly different than the other walls. Jump left into the wall to find two bonus lives.

Hint: Tractor beam core:
Kill both of the opponents in the tractor beam core room, but do not jump during the fight. Just point the gun upwards and shoot. Your character cannot be hit if you stay on the ground.
