Shadow mode:
Complete the game using all characters. A shadow will appear behind your character when this mode is enabled.

Alternate Alice costume:
Select time attack mode. Defeat all opponents in under ten minutes. Alice will appear in a school girl uniform.

Additional replay views:
Hold Select during the winning hit to your opponent for additional replay views.

Bonus graphics:
Complete the game in arcade mode to view the corresponding character's ending. Press Left or Right to view different scenes.

Hidden Mode 1:
Hold L + R (the two back keys on the Beat Mania controller) and press Start when the menu with the "Press Start Button" selection appears. Release those buttons and press Left + X (the two white keys on the left and right side). A sound will confirm correct code entry. The "Hidden Mode 1" option will now be available.

Double play mode:
Hold Left + Square + X (the three white keys) and press Start when the menu with the "Press Start Button" selection appears. Release those buttons and press L + R (the two black keys). A sound will confirm correct code entry. An option for double play mode will now be available.

Bonus edit mode:
Start the game with the arcade disc, switch to Beat Mania Append 3rd Mix (or Beat Mania Append Gottamix), then switch to Beat Mania Append 4th Mix.

Special Course in expert mode:
Successfully complete hard mode.

Another Course in expert mode and Lounge song:
Successfully complete hard mode five times.

Horrible Course in expert mode:
Successfully complete hard mode ten times.

Bonus Course in expert mode:
Successfully complete Another Course or Horrible Course. Alternately, Successfully complete hard mode twenty times.

Dance Pop song:
Successfully complete hard mode with no losses.

Deep House song:
Successfully complete expert mode.

Alternate song versions in hard mode:
Hold Select in hard mode. Some songs have an alternate version.

Bonus songs:
Successfully complete hard mode to unlock more songs.

Bonus edit mode:
Start the game with the arcade disc, switch to Beat Mania Append 3rd Mix (or Beat Mania Append Gottamix), then switch to Beat Mania Append 5th Mix.

Overdoser (Romo Mix/Ambient Mix) song:
Complete all expert courses in arcade mode before the second stage in course 2.

Five KCEJ Original Anothers songs:
Complete three expert courses in arcade mode. Expert course 7 will consist of those songs.

Hint: Recommended combination:

Bitchip: Draciel (or Wolborg or Trygle, but HP will be lower)
Attack Ring: Griffon
Weight Disk: 8 Wide (should be at least 285 HP; if not, try the other weight disks)
Spin Gear: Right MB spin gear
Blade base: Galeon (it is black)
Launcher: Dranzer Shooter
