Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko Cheat Codes

Hint: Revive dragon:
Immediately return to the clone lab after a dragon dies. Note: the dragon must not have died of natural causes and the Bio Bank tube that contained the dragon must be empty.

Hint: Free weapons:
The Junk Shop and Ishuka can equip dragons at no cost.

Cheat mode:
Begin game play and defeat the first Boss. Go to the trader's home and sell as many items as possible. Then, press Start to pause game play and press Up, Down, Left, Right, Select. Press Start to resume game play with more swords and FMV sequences unlocked.

Random tournament participants:
Select tournament mode, then press Start at the character selection screen.

Hint: Counter Kai attacks:

Press Square + Circle to hit the Kai blast away from you. Note: You will lose a little life.

Press Triangle + X to make a small bubble go around you and block it. Note: You will lose a little life.

Press X continually and you will only get half the damage.

Fire a Kai Blast back by pressing Triangle + Circle + Square. The Kais will hit together. Keep pressing Triangle as fast as possible and it will hit your opponent. If not, you will receive regular damage.

Sound test:
Press L1, L2, R1, R2, Start at the title screen. Press Select after choosing a song to view the lyrics and additional song information. Note: Press L1 + R1 + R2 + L2 at the presentation screen in the Japanese version of the game.

Hint: Chi moves:

Goku
All other forms of Goku can use these moves except for Spirit Bomb.
Kamehameha: Press Back, Down, Forward, Triangle.
Powered Up Kamehameha: Press Down, Back, Forward, Triangle.
Spirit Bomb: Press Right, Left, Down, Up, Triangle.

Pan
Kamehameha: Press Back, Down, Forward, Triangle.
Unknown: Press Down, Back, Forward, Triangle.

Trunks
All other forms of Trunks can use these moves.
Unknown: Press Back, Down, Forward, Triangle.
Unknown: Press Down, Back, Forward, Triangle.

Super Vegeta
Blast: Press Back, Down, Forward, Triangle.
Final Flash: Press Down, Back, Forward, Triangle.
Self Destruct: Press Right, Left, Up, Down, Triangle.

Hint: Vegeto: Special moves:

Invisible energy ball: Press Up, Down, Forward, Back + Triangle. If it hits, Vegeto will make fire appear around them.
Kicking combo: Press Up, Down, Back, Forward + Kick.
Invisible beam: Press Left, Right, Down, Up.

Raise ending level to 999%:
After a battle ends the save/continue screen will appear. Hold Select, press Triangle, Square, X for approximately five seconds, then release. Press Up or Down to scroll between scores to 999%.

Change Z rank:
Hold Select + Triangle + Square + X when the Z rank appears at the end of an episode. Release the buttons, then press Up or Down to change the Z rank.

SP Battle mode:
Successfully complete Z Campaign mode.

Alternate ending:
Successfully complete the game with a Z rank of 999%.

Alternate costumes:
Highlight a fighter at the character selection screen and press Start.

Hint: Captain Ginyu: Easy win:
When playing as Captain Ginyu, let the CPU beat you up until your health is low then perform the Damage Body Change (Back, Half Circle Back). If It hits your opponent you will switch bodies. Note: When you switch, your opponent can still switch bodies with you.
