All weapons and psionics: Press Select during game play to display the map. Press L1, Square, Triangle, Square(2), Circle, Square, Circle, Triangle. Press Select (sometimes repeatedly) to return to the game.

Gauntlet Legends Cheat Codes

Enter second round:
Successfully complete the game with less than three losses, more than 50,000,000 points, at least five Pachi Item Perfects, and the following hit rates: Type A = 270, Type B = 300, Type C = 330.

Bonus character:
Save a game in "International Team Tournament" mode. Hold L1 + R1 when the "Save Data" loading screen is displayed.

Special move:
Quickly collect five cogs to get one letter from the word "SPECIAL" in any level. Keep collecting cogs until the entire word is spelled out. Complete the level to learn a special move.

Defeating Merlock:
When one part of the floor shakes, go to the other part of the floor and dodge the fireballs. The pin-like things being shot from the front are harmless. When he splits up into four forms, hit the one whose pendant glows and repeat. Use caution because the less energy Merlock has, the more floor tiles fall into the lava.

Bonus screen:
Complete 100% of the game (all tasks completed in each level, all costumes unlocked, all special moves unlocked) to view a screen featuring the characters in the game.

Alternate costumes:
For each 10 Golden Threads collected, a new costume for Donald will be unlocked.

Map all lines:
Pause game play and press Triangle(2), L2, R2, L2, R2, R1, Square. To confirm correct code entry, a message will appear on the bottom of the viewing window and will disappear the game is resumed. All walls and boundaries will appear on the map for the current stage.

Map all items:
Pause game play and press Triangle(2), L2, R2, L2, R2, R1, Circle. To confirm correct code entry, a message will appear on the bottom of the viewing window and will disappear the game is resumed. All objects including enemies, items, weapons, and secret switches will appear on the map as blue triangles.

Invincibility:
Pause game play and press Down, L2, Square, R1, Right, L1, Left, Circle. To confirm correct code entry, a message will appear on the bottom of the viewing window and will disappear the game is resumed. Your character will be invincible, however unlike the invulnerability power-up, your screen will not turn white.

View completion amount:
Quickly press Right, Circle, Left, X, Up, Circle, Down, X during the opening sequence before the "Production IG" text disappears. The amount of the game completed, in percent, will appear on-screen.

In-game reset:
Press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 during game play.

Replay mode:
Successfully complete and save the game to unlock the replay mode option. This mode allows the game to be viewed non-interactively in a single sequence.

Omake mode:
Successfully unlock each of the four good endings with at least an 80% completed to unlock the omake mode option. This mode allows various artwork from the game to be viewed.

Bonus characters:
Enter the character selection screen. Highlight Billy for three seconds, move to Marian and wait three seconds, move to Chung Fu and wait three seconds, and move to Jimmy and wait three seconds. Shuko and Duke should now be selectable.

Bonus characters:
Complete the game under the hard difficulty level to unlock two bonus characters.

Mirror mode:
Complete the game under the normal difficulty level. Mirrored version of the tracks may now be selected under practice mode.

Bonus costumes:
Use each of the characters to complete scenario mode. Four additional costumes that may also be used in arcade mode will be available.

Hint: Puzzle in Dracula room:
Press the buttons on the mirror in Dracula's room in the following order to solve the puzzle: 6 (lion),7 (girl below line), 10 (goat).

Hint: Inventory items:
Give inventory items to NPCs that you encounter to learn how they are used.

Hint: Cigarette lighter:
The cigarette lighter looks like an old nine-volt battery.

Hint: Keys:
Keys are not completely utilized until they disappear from your inventory. If one still appears, it still has a use at some point in the game. Note: The reader must be used to view this file. A HTML preview version is also available for direct viewing through the service.

Hint: Golden Cross:
Either use the crossbow and rope to cross the cemetery, or drop into the red fire barrier by hanging over the cemetery and prying off the lid of the grave to get the jewel. There will be a clock puzzle in the room. There is a clock to the left behind the wall paper. Press the buttons in the following order: 3 o'clock, 12 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 5 o'clock. You can now get the Golden Cross.

Hint: Jewel:
In the stone room, use the steps in the following order: 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10. Note: Refer to the the second step as 1. If done correctly, you will hear the sound of something being unlocked. Go to the left. Use the skull from your inventory on the hand, then use the crowbar to break the skull and get the jewel.

Hint: Opening the safe:
Take the stethoscope and use it on the safe. Move the numbers until you hear a click, then release the wheel. Repeat this with the other three wheels until the safe opens.

Bonus balls:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Start at the stage selection screen. Seven balls will be available when game play begins.

Bonus dungeons:
Successfully complete the game to unlock two additional dungeons that can be explored.

Fire dragon:
Start with the phrase Armageddon is near. Note: This code only increases the chance to obtain such a dragon and may need to be done more than one time before one is created.
