Cheat mode:
Enter the options screen from the main menu and select "Pad Config". Hold R2 and press Right, Down, Right, Triangle, X at the pad configuration screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Begin game play and pause. Use the "Cheat" selection from the menu to access God mode, weapons, keys, and other options.

In-game reset:
Press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Start.

Passwords:
Choose the "Load" option from the main menu. The password option will appear after the game cannot find any saved game files.

Madden NFL 2001 Cheat Codes

Team Lard and level select:
Enter MARDY PIGS as a name.

View FMV sequences:
Enter PRYING PIGS as a name.

Bonus FMV sequence:
Enter WATTA PORK as a name.

Extra promotions:
Successfully complete the game one time, then start a new game to have 250 promotions available.

White Elite Pigs:

Pig one: Sg Cody
Pig two: Lt Mark
Pig three: Cpt Jon

Hint: Getting promotion points:

Completing a level: 1 PP
Keeping all of your pigs alive in a level: 1 PP
Completing all the levels on a island: 5 PP
Completing special tasks on some levels: 1 to 5 PP

Hint: Get Commandos before the level 1:
Start a new game and enable the "Bonus FMV sequence" code. Play the training mission and after the loading screen two FMV sequences will start. The game will then return to the starting screen or the men upgrade screen, depending on your version. Select multi-player mode, and choose a deathmatch. Then, select the Play Pen level and choose paratroopers for your entire team. Start the game, and you will see the FMV sequences again. After they complete, you should have Commandos at the men upgrade screen.
