Play as Blizzaro:
Press Up, Down, L1, Circle(2), R1, R2, L1 at the secret options menu. Alternately, defeat Blizzaro in a hard difficulty race at the Arctic Level as the Zebra.

Play as Pyro:
Press Up, Down, Circle, Down, L2, Down, R1, L2 at the secret options menu. Alternately, defeat Pyro in a hard difficulty race at the Volcano Level as the Bunny.

Play as Tox:
Press Circle, Up, Square, Circle, Square, R1, L1 at the secret options menu. Alternately, defeat Tox in a hard difficulty race at the City Level as the Ram.

Play as Kostra:
Press Up(2), Square, L2, R2, L2, R2, Down at the secret options menu. Alternately, defeat Kostra in a hard difficulty race at the Desert Level as the Bull.

Play as Lunarr:
Press Down(2), L1, Up, Square, R2 at the secret options menu. Alternately, defeat Lunarr in a hard difficulty race at the Space Level as the Panda.

Alternate character appearance:
Hold L1 or R1 and select a character.

Zanza's sword:
Hold Select when choosing Zanza on the character select screen. Zanza's Zanbato sword will be available for use.

Fight as Kaoru:
Successfully complete the game in story mode or vs. computer mode to choose Kaoru as one of the fighters.

Fight as Saito Hajime:
Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting to play as Saito Hajime. You will also be able to view all the FMV sequences in the game.

Mini-game:
Have Iaiko and Kaoru join your party, then return to Akabeko Restaurant. Talk to a waitress to play a mini-game.

Animation viewer:
Successfully complete the game with both characters. Load the cleared game file. Continue through the game until you go outside of town. Select the "Memory Card" option at the main menu, then select the third option to open the animation viewer screen.

Super cars:
Press Up, Left, Right, X, Circle, Square when "Start" appears on the title screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Heavy metal cars:
Press L1, R1, L1, Square, R1, Up when "Start" appears on the title screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
