Hint: Counterattack using Lumina:
Go up to any enemy and hold R1. When Musashi is charging up the gauge, he can defend himself from frontal attacks. When he is defending and someone attacks, you will see the front of Musashi emit a spark. Immediately after seeing this, quickly press Triangle and counter.

Glitch: Alchemist Leanman:
In the opening sequence the game shows the entire group, Butler Livers, Princess Fillet, Scribe Shanky, Steward Ribson, and Alchemist Leanman, Alchemist Leanman is shown trying to help Fillet with his Alchemy spells to enable a summon for the great Brave Fencer Musashi. However, how can Alchemist Leanman be there when he is supposed to be captured?

Turbo GeeBee:
Rapidly tap X at the "Now Loading" screen until the GeeBee aircraft flies to the top of the screen. The word "Good!!" will appear to confirm correct code entry. The GeeBee will now fly over 100 mph faster than normal during game play.

Extra planes:
Hold R1 + L2 and quickly press Select(20) on controller two at the title screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. The F-16 and F-117A will be available on the plane selection screen.

Alternate plane color:
Hold R2 + L1 while the game loads.

Hint: Easier time trials:
Press L2 or R2 to roll during the time trials to add a few more seconds to the clock.

Hint: More fairies:
Get the Fairie Taria from the three Fairies after you fix the lighthouse. To get more Fairies, place them in the hunting section. Note: For this to work you have to go there after you are older (when Garland tried to kill you, and you disappeared).

Hint: Easy Aurum:

Spoon: Lazy Fairy shop.
Fork: In the Cove with the wrecked ship, the large crap monsters drop them.
Straw: Rei and Teepo shop, or the crooked business man will give you one for helping out with the crates, vases/boxes.
Chopsticks: Send fairies to Wyndia searching, Rei and Teepo shop

Hint: Masters:

Abbess: Talk to her in the Village of Chek after talking to all the dragons in their physical forms.

Bunyan: Get the ability to apprentice with all the other eleven Masters. Then, find Bunyan by going to the question mark spot above the Highway and go through a secret passageway mid-way through the mountain range. Go up to his hut and talk to him.

Gyorim: After getting over 3,000 points in fishing, talk to the fishing frog in Lyp.

Kahn: After defeating him for the third time you can find him on the upper west continent in a question mark spot near the flowing tides.

Kryrik: After the sea voyage event, return to Shikk and talk to him. He will apprentice you only if you have gotten 25 or more hits in a combo. Practicing in Chek is recommended.

Lyta: After the Sea Voyage, talk to Sister Lyta in the orphanage in Synesta. You must have already learned Ward for her to apprentice you.

Marlok: Buy the "treasure" from the frog in Sarai for 500 Zenny. Trade it around from city to city until you get a Tin Ball or better. Then, talk to Marlok in Synesta after finishing the sandflier event.

Momo: Just talk to her in the windmill in Wyndia

Njomo: After working with the Faerie Village after awhile, go to the question mark spot with the house in it. Talk to the fairy upstairs.

Rwolf: Just talk to him near the entrance of Kurok.

Stoll: Pay him all your Zenny in the Bandits Hideout after the Marlok events.

Una: After beating up Kahn for the second time, talk to her in Worent.

Super batsman:
Enter SUPERMAN as a password for a super batsman in classic match mode.

Full ammunition:
Press Start to pause game play and press Triangle. Highlight the "Help Text" selection, hold L1 + R2 and press X + Triangle. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Select the "Return To Game" option to resume with full ammunition.

Full health and armor:
Press Start to pause game play and press Triangle. Highlight the "Help Text" selection, hold L1 + R2 and press X + Circle. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Select the "Return To Game" option to resume with more health and armor.

Entering debug mode:
Press Down, Up, Down, Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Up, Down at the title screen.

Level skip:
Enter debug mode. Press L1 during game play to jump to the previous level. Press R1 during game play to jump to the next level.

Debug menu:
Enter debug mode. Press R2 during game play to display the debug menu. This displays the map number, Bub's lives, and Bob's lives. Press R1 during game play to hide the debug menu.
