Bonus ending:
Successfully collect all the bonus pictures and get a gold medal in all the mini-games. The "Bonus Ending" option will now be unlocked in Hut 1.

Hint: Dice De Chocobo: Gigan Toad:
To get Gigan Toad as a stone, play Sahagin's pond a few more times. Out of those few, it will appear in the level.

Hint: Chocobo Racing: Bonus characters:
Complete the indicated task to unlock the following bonus.

Airship: Complete Story mode nine times, then hold L1 + R1 while highlighting Squall at the character selection screen.

Aya: Complete Story mode seven times, then hold L1 + L2 while highlighting Squall at the character selection screen.

Bahamut: Complete Story mode.

Cactuar: Complete Story mode six times, then hold R2 while highlighting Squall at the character selection screen.

Cid Tank: Complete Story mode three times, then hold L1 while highlighting Squall at the character selection screen.

Cloud: Complete Story mode five times, then hold R1 while highlighting Squall at the character selection screen.

Jack: Complete Story mode ten times, then hold L2 + R2 while highlighting Squall at the character selection screen.

Hint: Chocobo Racing: Mirror mode:
Finish first in all tracks in Grand Prix mode in the Behemoth class to unlock the "Mirror" selection at the options menu.

Mass targeting:
Press R1 while choosing a target to select all enemies within range.

Quick start:
Hold Square + Up immediately before the race begins. Alternately, press X when "Go!" appears.

Bahamut class:
Begin game play in grand prix mode and continue until requested to choose between Chocobo and Behemoth class. Finish in first place in every stage to get the crown for that stage and class. Bahumut class will be unlocked after collecting all crowns for both classes (and the Final Fantasy 8 track).

Mirrored tracks:
Collect all crowns in Bahamut class (including the Final Fantasy 8 track) to unlock the mirror mode selection on the options screen.

Bonus characters:
A bonus character will be unlocked each time story mode is successfully completed. Highlight Squall at the character selection screen and press the indicated button(s).

Cyber Tiger Cheat Codes

Hint: Audience:
On certain levels there is an audience watching the race. The basic audience you can see on the side of the road are some Marlboro, a few Bombs, and some other strange creatures from the Final Fantasy series. In the racetrack known as the "FF8 Circuit", the audience is made up of members of SeeD and Galbadia Soldiers from Final Fantasy 8.

Hint: Over the ditch with Jack:
The only way you can get through the Gingerbread level with Jack is to equip him with Dash, get him a Charge, or pick up Haste. When Jack is on the track, there is a ditch later in the course that requires enough speed for a jump, but he normally is too slow.

Hint: Perfect race:
Play as Jack in versus mode. Your enemy should be Cactuar or also Jack. Equip yourself with Charge or Dash. Give your opponent anything but Dash and Charge. Select the Gingerbread level. Whenever you reach the ditch, use your special to jump over it, because you are too slow to jump over it otherwise. Your opponent will never be able to get over it because he is too slow, and you will always win.

Hint: View game text:
Put the game disc in a CD-ROM drive, and open the "title.bin" file with a text editor. On line 8, column 30, page 24, section 1, you will see a compiled phrase "Yoo Dead", and others on various lines, such as "Bloody", etc.

Select same boat:
Select "Free Run" mode, then press Up(2), Down, Up, X at the track selection screen.
