International Superstar Soccer '98 Cheat Codes
Cheat mode: Enter PICKLE as a password and ignore the incorrect password message. Press Triangle to return to the main menu. Select the "Cheat menu" option to access a level select feature.

Unlimited lives:
Pause game play and press Right, Square, Triangle, Square, Triangle, X. A message and sound will confirm correct code entry. Note: To quit game play after cheats have been enabled, press Start to pause, press Select, then choose the "Yes" option. Repeat the code to return to normal. Alternately, pause game play and press Right, Square, Triangle, Square, Triangle, R1, L1, R1, L1, Circle.

Hint: Level secret:
Collect all the gold coins on a level to unlock a secret for that level.

Hint: The Ant's Nest: Extra lives:
At the part where the ants are going in a straight line, go in the part where the ants go in. Be careful inside, as there are little ants. You should find six lives. Note: Having the Feeding Frenzy power-up activated is recommended.

Iyana W robot:
Enter SCHNECKE at the Network, with SN as a password. Enter GERMANY as the answer to the question that appears to access the Iyana W.

Completion bonus:
Win the final battle and save the game. Load the saved data to start a new game with each pilot having the skills and moves learned in the previous game.

Hint: More battle skill activation percentage:
When you are about to hit the enemy Wanzer, quickly press L1 + R1, Square, L1 + R1, Square, L1 + R1, Square, and keep alternating those buttons.

Easy skills:
When on a mission that can be easily completed, wait in one location without moving. There is a 30 minute time limit to complete a mission before automatic failure. Simply wait to keep learning skills, then quickly complete the mission towards the end of the time limit.
