Produce all mobile units:
Pause game play and press R1, L1, Select(2), X(2), L1. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Enable cheats:
Press Start to pause game play, then press R1(3), L1(2), L2, L1, L2. A message will confirm correct code entry.

Unlimited health:
Press Start to pause game play, then press L2(2), R2, L2(3), R1, L1. A message will confirm correct code entry.

Call ball:
Press Start to pause game play, then press R1, L1(2), R1, L2, L1, R2, R1. A message will confirm correct code entry.

Disable active cheats:
Press Start to pause game play, then press L2(8). A message will confirm correct code entry.

Unlimited lives:
Press Start to pause game play, then press R1(5), L2, R2, L2. A message will confirm correct code entry.

Checkpoint select:
Press Start to pause game play, then press R2(2), L2, L1, R1(2), R2, L1. A message will confirm correct code entry.

Final level:
Load and resume a saved game. Press Start to pause game play, then press X, Circle, X(2), Triangle, Square, X. A message will confirm correct code entry.

Hint: Extra lives:
Go to a level, such as Carnival Realm 3, where there are several extra lives that can be collected quickly and easily. Get the lives, press Start, and return the castle. You will land outside the Realm Building and have all of the lives you collected. Go back to the level, collect the lives again, and repeat as needed.

Easter Island heads:
Enter Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, Square, Circle, Start when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. The sound of a crowd cheering will confirm correct code entry. Players will have large square stone heads and uniforms with the Konami logo. If the code is entered prior to a two player game, player one's team will have the large heads, while player two's team will be normal.

Revolving camera mode:
Enter Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, Triangle(2), Start when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Press Select during a game for additional camera modes, including a close-up mode that only displays one or two players. In this mode, the invisible players are present, but are off-camera.

Secret character:
Start the game in team battle mode. Press Left, Right, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Up at the character screen.

Alternate costumes and more options:
Successfully complete single player mode under the normal or higher difficulty setting. Highlight a fighter and press Down at the character selection screen to choose a new costume. Additionally, the number of continues and rounds may now be adjusted in the options screen.

Slow motion replay:
Hold Circle before the replay begins.

Play as Boss:
Successfully complete the game using all ten characters. Press Left at the leftmost or Right at the rightmost fighter at the character selection screen.

Level select:
Press Square(5), Triangle(7), Circle(3) at the title screen.

Invincibility:
Pause the game and press Triangle(2), Right, Left, Right, Left, Down, Left. A sound will confirm correct code entry. The code may be entered again to return to normal mode.

Maximum power:
Pause the game and press Up(2), Down(3), Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Circle. A sound will confirm correct code entry. After the game is resumed, maximum power (except for shields) will be available. Both players will be powered-up in a two-player game. Enter this code is original Parodius mode to get a shield.

Saving the game:
After losing, allow the timer to expire, and return to the title screen. Choose the "Save" option at the bottom, press Start, and confirm the save. The current button configuration will also be saved. The same process can be used with the "Load" option to resume an old game.

Move options:
When Options are at maximum (four rabbits), their alignment may be changed by getting enough capsules to choose Options again.

Bonus teams:
Some of the following bonus teams first require that the World Cup is won. Then, select a friendly match and enter the code at the team selection screen.

England 1966 team:
Press L1(3), Right at the team selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Cycle through the continents until the "Secret" selection is displayed.

Brazil 1970 team:
Press R1(3), Right at the team selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Cycle through the continents until the "Secret" selection is displayed.

Press R2(3), Right at the team selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Cycle through the continents until the "Secret" selection is displayed.
