Press R1 during a race to turn on your headlights.

Hint: Castle lock:
When you get to the castle level, you will come upon a note which reads:

Hint: Train code locations:

Lock 1: In the pocket of the police uniform you find. Just put it on and Lupin will pull it out of the pocket.

Lock 2: Written on a blackboard below the card where you witness Zenigata talking to Teresa (behind two guards).

Lock 3: Two halves of one paper with the code are scattered around before you reach the locked door.

Lock 4: The clues are written in the policeman's diary you find on the floor. The answer is 1355, and it never changes.

Lock 5: The answer is the expiration date on Zenigata's bowl of instant noodles found in a passengers compartment.

All power-ups:
Press Circle, X(2), Circle, Triangle, L1, Square, R1, L1 during game play.

Invincibility:
Press Up, Down, X(2), R1, L1, R2, L2, Triangle, Square, Circle during game play.

Level select:
Press R1(2), Circle, L2, L1, X, Triangle, R1, Triangle during game play.

Hint: Bird Flying mini-game:
In level 3, go in the right subway entrance to find one of the arcade games.

Hint: Madden Cards:
There are three different value levels of the cards: Gold (4), Silver (2), and Bronze (1). The cards each serve one use, except for stadium cards, team cards, and historical players, which are always active. The other cards are for cheat codes and boosting player attributes. Gold Cards last for one half of a game. Sliver Cards last for one quarter. Bronze cards last for a single play. You earn Madden Cards by purchasing them with Madden Tokens. Madden Tokens are earned by accomplishing certain feats during game play. There are five levels of feats to accomplish, and you get more tokens for the higher difficulty level. To get Madden Cards you must make sure that Madden Cards are enabled, either on the profile select screen prior to the game, or on the options menu.

Hint: Unlimited creation points:

Create a player, then go to "Edit Player" at the roster screen. Press Up or Down to choose the player you want to edit. Press Right to get to the speed category. Press X, then press X again.

Hint: Thanksgiving commentary:

Set the system date to the third Thursday in November.

Hint: Christmas commentary:

Set the system date to December 25 to hear Pat Summerall will say ''Season's Greetings''.

Hint: Created player announced:

Give a created player a pro's last name to hear his name announced.

Hint: Onside recover:
When you are kicking the ball go to onside, press Circle and when the red arrow appears, move the arrow to the center. Then, move it all the way down and try to kick it hard, It should kick a pooch very high. Press Triangle to jump and recover the ball.
