Hint: Double pass:
Press X(2) during a game to a nearby teammate.

Hint: Spin around:
Tap L1 when you have the ball.

Hint: Step-Over and Kick Ahead:
Hold L1 when you have the ball.

Hint: Shimmy:
Tap L2 when you have the ball.

Hint: Shimmy and Kick Ahead:
Hold L2 when you have the ball.

Hint: Kick Ahead:
Press R1(2) when you have the ball.

Hint: Scoring a penalty:
A square will appear on the screen. Hold Circle until the top of the yellow meter reaches between the two lines in the middle. While doing that, hold the direction in which you want the ball to go.

Hint: Limping player:
If one of your players starts limping, press Start and go to "Substitution". The limping person will have a green card beside his name. Get him off the field.

Hint: Start game quicker:
At the main menu, go to" Quick Game" instead of "Exhibition". You will not have to go through all the settings. If you do not like the teams, press Triangle and go to options. Choose "Custom Quick Game" and choose both your team and the CPU's team. Note: This can also work if you turn off the PlayStation2 and turn it back on if you saved.

Glitch: Multiple penalties:
Press X when inside the goalkeeper's area and an opposing player is close about to tackle you, even though none of your teammates are around. If done correctly, when the opposing player tackles you, he will tackle your player's leg instead of the ball repeatedly.

Unlimited money for one season:
Press Up(2), Down, Left, Right, L1 at the main menu. The sound of a cheer will confirm correct code entry. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Unlimited skill in custom teams:
Press Up(2), R1, L2, Up, L1 at the main menu. The sound of a cheer will confirm correct code entry. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

All bonus teams and stadiums:
Press L1, R1, R2, L2, Up, Down, Left, Right at the main menu. The sound of a cheer will confirm correct code entry.
