Bonus monster classes:
Reach the indicated levels unlock new monster classes.

Death: Mana Sphere, Forsaken One and Dark Stalker to level 30.
Devil 1: Vampire and Death to level 50.
Devil 2: Gobbler and Guardian to level 50.
Gobbler: Carrot Dude, Pump Kin, Apple Kid and Corn Guy to level 10.
Guardian: Gardener and Iron Golem to level 20.
Heaven's Bliss: Mimic and Idol to level 20.
Thunder God: Heaven's Bliss to level 50
Vampire: Hell Kitty and Bombster to level 20.

Ending sequences:
Complete the indicated tasks to see the corresponding ending sequence.

Etna's takeover: Lose to Etna in her event dungeon. After losing you will see a sequence featuring Zetta and Etna.

Laharl's attack: Lose to Laharl in his event Dungeon. After losing you will see a sequence featuring Zetta, Laharl, Etna and Flonne.

Alexander's bad ending: Complete Chapter 8-6, have Salome die, then defeat Alex.

Alexander's bad ending 2: Complete Chapter 8-6, have Salome die, then have Alex win.

Good ending: Complete Chapter 8-6 with Salome alive and complete the last stage with 49 or less ally kills.

Pram's bad ending: Complete Chapter 8-6 with Salome alive and complete the last stage with 50 or more ally kills then defeat Pram.

Pram's bad ending 2: Complete Chapter 8-6 with Salome alive and complete the last stage with 50 or more ally kills then have Pram win.

Salome's bad ending: Wish to fight Salome in Chapter 5 and defeat her.

Zetta's bad ending: Wish "I want to beat the strongest", then have Zetta win. For an alternate version, have Laharl in the lead.

Museum mode:
Successfully complete the game.

Trial mode:
Successfully complete the game.

Dog mode:
Press Triangle(3), R2, Circle, X, L2, Left, Right(2) at the title screen, then start a new game.

Unlimited Mana:
Select the "Sound" option then choose "Soundtrack". Listen to the tracks 2, 6, 8, 3, and 8 in that order the start a new game.

Extra life:
Collect ten crystal heart pots during game play to earn one extra life. Note: Each level has five crystals.

Final four crystal heart pots:
There are four crystal heart pots that are not found in the normal game. To collect them, intentionally die and go through the Beach Of Souls to the next Beach Of Souls with the lighthouse. Then, get through the sequence of jumps sequence that are timed by the firefly to get the last four crystal heart pots. Note: Collecting these and all the other four crystal heart pots in the normal game will give you a total of 100 of them.

God mode:

Successfully complete the game under the Fetish difficulty setting, then press Down(2), Circle, Up, Square, Triangle, Square, R2, Up(2), L1, Triangle at the title screen. The message "God Mode" will appear at the bottom of the screen to confirm correct code entry. Note: The game cannot normally be saved while this code is enabled.

Cheat mode:
The following codes have no effect until you complete the both levels with at a five star rank under the hardcore difficulty setting to unlock them. Each code has two parts, each of which are unlocked by a specific level (for example, at the end of level 1 and level 2 with at least a three star rank). When this is done, one half of a code will appear at the bottom of the image that is now unlocked in the "Bonus Features" menu. Once both halves (images) are unlocked, that specific code can now be activated in any level in the game.

Helium Hunters:

Press R1(2), Triangle, Circle, Square, L2, L1, Down at the main menu. A message will appear to confirm correct code entry. Complete the Strapped for Cash and View Of Innocence levels to unlock this code. Enemies will have high pitched voices.

Monkey Skin:

Press Square(2), R2, Down, Triangle, Square, Circle, Down at the main menu. A message will appear to confirm correct code entry. Complete the Press Coverage and Wrong Side Of The Tracks levels to unlock this code.
