Hint: Player ratings:

90-99: Superb. An extremely talented player above the All-Star level.
80-89: Great. A player that can definitely play strong but not considered as superior as others.
70-79: Good. A player who is not too high up in the ranks but can play proficient games.
60-69: Fair. A player just above the average who can usually rack up decent stats.
50-59: Mediocre. An average type of player who has the ability to obtain ordinary stats.
40-49: Poor. A player who can sometimes give an average performance but lacks intensity.

Glitch: Substitution error:
When a player is about to shoot freethrows, the CPU will substitute players after the last freethrow and not in-between freethrows.

Glitch: Commentary:
When playing at home with player whose last name ends with an ''s'', the announcer will pronounce the last name without saying the ''s''. For example, "Gilbert Arena" instead of "Arenas", and "Earl Boykin" instead of "Boykins".

Hint: Clyde Drexler's Under The Rim Windmill:
From the 3 point corner, hold L + R and move toward basket with Y. Then, tap Y again.

Hint: Dee Brown's Cover Eyes dunk:
Hold L + R and move toward the basket with X. Then, tap B.

Hint: Air Jordan dunk:
Press B to lift off, then hold X.

Hint: Michael Jordan's Rock The Baby dunk:
When running up to the net, hold R then press B as your gather, and then press B again.

Hint: Vince Carter's Arm In Rim dunk:
Note: Depending on how well it is timed and how long you hold it, you can get your armpit in the rim; also do this with a lob for an automatic 50. Hold L and move toward the basket with B. Then, tap Y.

Hint: Rainbow Gather:
To do the gather that Darius Miles does in the Advanced video, hold L + R, then rotate the C-stick clockwise, starting at the bottom.

Hint: Soccer Gather:
Hold D-pad Left and press C-stick Left and rotate it clockwise 360 degrees.

Hint: One Hand Tomahawk:
Hold L and move toward the basket with X. Then, tap A.

Hint: One Hand Windmill:
Hold R and move toward the basket with X. Then, tap Y.

Hint: Two Hand Windmill:
Hold L and move toward the basket with X. Then, tap Y.

Hint: Two Hand Reverse Windmill:
Hold L and move toward the basket with A. Then, tap Y.

Hint: 360 Pump dunk or 180 Pump dunk:
Hold R and move toward the basket with Y. Rotate the Analog-stick 360 or 180 degrees, then tap Y again.

Hint: 540 dunk:
Hold R while running towards the basket, then press Y, rotate the Analog-stick clockwise twice, then switch to hold L + B.

Hint: 720 dunk:
Hold R and press Y for your gather. Then, rotate the Analog-stick two times very fast and press X as your trick. You need to hold it for awhile to finish the trick.

Hint: Dunk and hang on rim by armpit:
Hold L and press B for the gather and Y for the dunk. For best results, hold Y until the ball is almost at its highest peak.

Hint: Statue Of Liberty:
Move towards the basket, tap A once, rotate the Analog-stick 360 degrees, then tap X.

Hint: Rock The Cradle dunk:
Hold R1 and move toward the basket with Square. Then, tap either Y, B, A or X. Each button will give you a different score.

Hint: Throw ball off screen:
Hold D-pad Left or Right (depending on which side you want to dunk from), then tap C-stick Up.

Hint: Throw ball off the camera:
Hold D-pad Up and tap C-stick Up.

Hint: Throw ball off shot clock:
Hold L + R and press the C-stick in any direction.

Hint: Throw ball off your head:
When in the dunk contest or practice dunking mode, you can throw the ball off of your head. Press C-stick Left then move it 180 degrees clockwise to the Right, making a semicircle.
