Custom option:
Get a 100% hit head shot status two times in a row. This option is unlocked at the battle mode team setup menu.

Level select option:
Successfully complete the game two times to unlock the level select option.

Team power option:
Get two head shots in a row. This option is unlocked at the battle mode menu.

Humans and creatures option:
Have a character on your team get their weapon fully upgraded in single player mode. Alternately, have no characters on your team miss during an entire level in single player mode. This option is unlocked at the battle mode team types menu.

Defeat leader option:
Have all team members complete an episode with 100% health. This option is unlocked at the battle mode objectives menu.

Cheat mode:
Enter Areliano's house. It contains three empty bedrooms and a fourth guest room to which you are taken. You must open the doors into these rooms from the corridor in a particular order to enable cheat mode. Opening the doors from the room side will not count -- you must be standing on the corridor side. There are three doors in the corridor, with the third door being the closest to Rhama's room. Open the first door three times, the second door six times, and the third door nine times (in order). If you make a mistake, you must start again. If done correctly, the final Boss' sword will appear on your character's back and you will have 99 pistols in your inventory. Additionally, when you complete the game, all ending credit bonuses will be unlocked. Note: The pistols will disappear when you proceed to the next level. Collecting all of an item after the code is enabled has the opposite effect and will negate that bonus in the ending sequence.

Completion bonus:
Successfully complete the game to unlock the survival mode and level select options.

Alternate ending sequence:
Collect all the treasures and secret swords during game play to get an alternate ending sequence.

Permanent super shot with large crossbow:

Play the first level three or more times, then go to the Section level. Play that level two times to unlock another section of levels.

Pause game play and do not press any buttons. Eventually some axes will start flying around the screen.

Hint: Defeating Bosses:
An easy way to defeat the Bosses is to buy four or five of the following items before the fight: Triple Shot, Rapid Fire, a magical amulet (Acid, Light, Fire, etc.) that the Boss is weak against. Get close and press the button as fast as possible. It is amazing how quickly the Boss' life goes down. This strategy can be used for every Boss in the game and also makes the Spider Queen very easy.

Hint: Defeating Plague:
Go to the far upper right or left. You should be directly next to his vat. This is his blind spot, and very few attacks can reach you. Just fire away at him until he is dead. Note: This is best done with two players, one on each side of his vat.

Hint: Defeating Skorne:
Enable the "10,000 gold per level" code. When you defeat the Wraith, you should have 40,000 gold. Next, shop and buy 20,000 gold worth of invincibility and 20,000 gold worth of the Hammer. When you run out of hammers, Skorne should at least have half of his life gone, and you will still have invincibility throughout the entire battle. If you run out of invincibility, use a second player as a sacrifice.

Hint: Defeating Generals:
Fire a strong attack. The General will block it. Then, fire a turbo attack. Repeat this until they are dead. For a more powerful hit, use the turbo attack when close to them.

Hint: Character combo:
Tap Quick Attack (default is A) two to three times, then Strong Attack (default is Y) to do a special one or two hit combination hit after the normal attacks are done. These combos do more damage than regular attack and are useful against mini-Bosses or Bosses who are in short-range distance (the Spider Queen, Lich, etc.).

Hint: Easy experience:
Killing the Spider Queen repeatedly. She is worth the best experience. If you have some friends playing, have them use the "Defeating Bosses" trick for rapid killing. You can get two to three levels per fight depending on how long your items lasted.

Hint: Easy gold:
Note: This trick requires two controllers. Load an existing character, then create another character with the "Invincibility" code. Go to any Boss. Have the invincible character just stand there and use your character to attack the Boss until it is defeated. It drops double the gold on a two player game, which your main character should collect. Repeat this to get as much gold as needed.

Hint: Stronger magic:
When you use magic, it will be stronger depending on your character's color.

Blue: Lightning potions are stronger and have better radius. Lightning shields are also larger.

Green: Acid potions are stronger and have better radius. Acid shields are also stronger

Red: Fire potions are stronger and have better radius. Fire shields are also stronger.

Yellow: Light potions are stronger and have better radius. Light shields are also stronger
