Hint: Destroying helicopters:
You do not need a Harpoon RL to destroy a chopper. Here are some other guns that you can use: AR4 Commando, HS90 + HS90, HS90 + Jackal, Jackal + Jackal, Mamba + HS90. Never go against a chopper with an SPEC-9.

Mini-game challenges:

For every five "Rare books" that you find, you will unlock a bonus mini-game challenge at the mini-game screen. There are 100 "Rare books" in the game, which unlock a total of twenty bonus mini-game challenges. There is one "Rare book" in every room of the mansion. Challenge #21 is unlocked by completing the previous twenty challenges with a "Gold" or "Platinum" rank.

Tank (Rhino):

Press B(6), R, White, L, Y, B, Y during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. The Rhino tank will appear in front of you. This may be repeated as many times as needed.

At any time, if you get stuck on an objective or have no idea where to go next, bring up your notebook. It tells you exactly where to go and what to do. Use its knowledge often.

Arcade mode cheats:
Accumulate the indicated number of experience points in Tournament mode after maxing our your character stats to unlock the corresponding cheat option in Arcade mode. To use the cheats, enter the "My Character" menu, then press White. You can then toggle the unlocked cheats on or off.

Extra Logos: 10 experience points
God Mode: 30 experience points
Slow Motion Mode: 20 experience points

Cheat mode:

Successfully complete 50 missions. Alternately, accumulate 72 hours of game time.

Fight as Justice:

Successfully complete 50 missions. Alternately, accumulate 72 hours of game time.

Fight against gold fighters:

Highlight the "Arcade" or "M.O.M." mode options, then hold L while selecting it. You will fight against gold opponents in that mode.

Fight against EX fighters:

Highlight the "Arcade" or "M.O.M." mode options, then hold White while selecting it. You will fight against EX opponents in that mode.

Fight against gold EX fighters:

Highlight the "Arcade" or "M.O.M." mode options, then hold L + White while selecting it. You will fight against EX opponents in that mode.

Hint: Gold character advantages:

Gold Sol: Will recover slowly, has unlimited tension and "Dragon Install". His moves will be be twice as strong.

Gold Ky: Only will have more powerful moves. His Stun Edge will hit three times and with HS (B), it will hit ten times.

Gold May: Will have more powerful atacks. The Dolphin Attack (Down, Forward + any non-kick button) will hit seven or more times.

Gold Jam: You do not need to use his special charge. It will use his Dragon and Phoenix Kick at the maximum force.

Gold Bridget: His "Bear Attack" will last longer. His attack power will also have a great increase.

Gold Johnny: His "Mist Finner" will instantly kill any normal, Ex, or black character, but leaves with a bit of energy to gold enemies. If you toss coins to the foes, it can do up to 999 damage (except for Ex Johnny).

Gold Venom: His ball launch attack will be at maximum force without charge. Also if you use his Pool Rain, all the balls you launch will be at medium force.

Gold Eddie (Zato-One): All his attacks will have more power.

Gold Slayer: Most of his attacks will have increased force. Also when you strike any enemy, you will recover energy by the amount you hit them with.

Gold Millia: His attacks will become stronger.

Gold Dizzy: It will have infinite Dark Cape (the same used in Ex). His Fire Scythe will do up to twelve hits. Also his Ice Monster attack covers from all.

Hint: Alliances in arcade mode:

When playing in arcade mode and on either GG or GGX mode, there are alliances to watch out for. Alliances are when two characters come after one another that are either friends or enemies in the Guilty Gear storyline.

Ammunition cache:
Take a barrel of TNT from the Badlands mine. Find the abandoned house in the Badlands where the buffalo graze. Go to the back of the house on the outside. Face the chimney (looking west) and place the TNT barrel on the left side of the chimney. Blow up the TNT barrel to open a hole in the ground with ammunition for all weapons. The ammunition will reappear over time after you leave the area.

Hint: Animal locations:

Gray Wolf: Near the bridge in Dodge.

White Buffalo: Near the mine (not Magruder's). It roams with the other buffalo.

White Wolf: Near Piper lake, usually by the waterfall.

Mountain Lion: Go to where Magruder's mine is located. Stand at it with your back to it. To your left is the train tunnel, and to your right is the path to the Indian hunter. Go through the middle path and it should be through there.

Great Wolf: Same place the White Buffalo was, usually behind the mine.

Grizzly: Near Empire.The map will show you its location. You do not have to use an arrow to kill him.

Hint: Faster riding:
Hold Dash while repeatedly jumping your horse to travel about double the speed.

Mission select:
Click Left Analog-stick, press Black, R, click Right Analog-stick, press White, L at the mission selection screen.

Mission skip:
Click Left Analog-stick, press White(2), Back, click Right Analog-stick, press White during a mission.

Alternate music:
Click Left Analog-stick(2), Right Analog-stick(2), press L, R at the title screen.

Joke mission briefing:
Play missions 1, 3, 6, 8, 9 or 14, then press L(2), R(2), click Left Analog-stick, Right Analog-stick at the armory screen before launch.

Hint: Flak Cannon:
The Flak Cannon works well at close range. Fire it at the first group of landing craft then use your pistol for the tanks at long range.

View developers:

Play the Civilian Base 1 level. Notice the room that cannot be accessed, but is visible on the map when you examine the second large room. This room is on the northern side. Aim manually and destroy all of the lights in the mission. When this has been completed, return to the northernmost big room on the map. You can now pass through the wall when Meteor Crashing. There is a picture of development team in that room.
