Neo Contra Cheat Codes

Avoid enemy fire:
Press [Esc] to pause game play. Move your ship out of danger. Press N to resume game play.

Cheat mode:
Type champ, then select the help selection at the options screen to display the cheat functions.

Final level:
Enter QUARANTINE as a password.

Level select:
Type mellie at the difficulty selection screen.

Super character:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "charselstats.dat" file in the "common" directory in the game folder. Increase the value for the character class' attributes (Warrior, Wizard, or Survivor) that you wish to play.

Duplicate items:
Select the item to be duplicated from the inventory. Drag across to plane. As the item is dropped press [Ctrl] + L to quick load. Note: This requires correct timing.

Unlock battlefields in each Act:
Find the battlefield keys during Act 1. Drag and drop the keys to your inventory. When you start a new Act, click on each key to activate it and the battlefields will be unlocked.

Marble mini-game:
Collect 88 Pearls to unlock the Marble mini-game on an Mdisk.

Animal Mdisk:
Photograph every animal.

Bonus sequence:
Successfully complete the game and watch the credits. Do not press anything to advance past the credits. Another FMV sequence will start after the credits end.

Hint: Easy pictures and money:
After you get the camera and photograph the beetle, take a picture of the kids, the dog, and Pey'j to get some pictures for the scientific society, and some money. likewise, go to Mammago's and take a picture of one of the attendants; and in the Pedestrian District, take some pictures of the people there. Some might be an "unidentified species".
