ammo: Unknown
bad boy: Lose all your points.
bohne: Subtracts 50 points
crazy: Reverse the mouse and get more points for shooting Moorhuhns
extra: A lot of chickens appear.
extra-time: Add one minute to clock and stops more snow letters
hunter: Extra value to Moorhuhns shot
killer: Add 100 points.
maniac: Add 100 points
secret: Allows you to collapse the tower to the ground, destroy the birdhouse, or makes the snowman jump.
secret: Allows gravestones to be shot, adding rather than subtracting points.
sleep-mode: Stop clock for 20 seconds; only appears within the last 10 seconds
summer: Stops the snow
surprise: Adds 150 points; appears at the last second
thank you: Add 100 points
triple-x: Triples points from shooting; only lasts a few seconds near the end of the time

Unlimited gold:
Create a new character. Load the new character and have another character join the party. This second character will be the one that receives the unlimited money. Have the second character withdraw a negative amount of gold from the bank. Give the negative amount of gold to the newly created character. After accumulating enough gold, quit the game and delete the character with the negative amount of gold.

Cheat mode:
Press [Ctrl] + W and enter Mithrandir as a password to enable Wizard mode. Then, press [Ctrl] + H during game play to list the cheat functions.

Cheat mode:
Press [F10] to enter the setup menu. Hold [Shift] and type DIP to display a set of dip switches that can alter game play. Turn on one of the following dip switches to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: the game may need to be restarted in order for some codes to be completely enabled.

Unlimited credits:
During a loss against the CPU, press [F2] when the phrase "Finish Him!" appears. A two player match will begin. Choose any fighter and select Sub-Zero as player two. Win the fight and allow player two's counter drop to zero. The previously lost CPU match will restart without the use of any credits.

Fight against Reptile:
Kill your opponent with a double flawless match and a fatality on The Pit, after various objects pass over the moon.

Hint: Blinking eyes:
Once you get to Goro and Shang Tsung, you should be on the skull level. If you go all the way to the left you will see some eyes blinking. They are three fighters in that black shadow. The first is Reptile, the second is Ermac, and the third is Smoke.

Cheat mode:
Type aiculedssul at the copyright screen, then press [F9] at the Acclaim logo.

Fight Jade:
Win one round using only low kicks in the match before the "?" round.

Fight Smoke:
Quickly press [F1] or [F2] when Dan Forden appears and says "Toasty!" on the Portal stage.

Unlimited credits:
Wait until the countdown at the continue screen begins. Press [F2] to start a two player game, then press [F1] while in the two player menu. After you defeat the player two you will continue the game at the place you left off without losing a credit.

Unlimited continues:
Press Up, Up, Toward, Toward, Away, Away, Down, Down while the game loads. Shao Khan say "Excellent" to confirm correct code entry.

Question mark menu:
Press HP, LP, LK, HK, Block, Block, Run, Run, Block, Block when the story introduction is displayed. The phrase "You will never win" will be spoken to confirm correct code entry. Press [Up] when the Mortal Kombat 3 logo and cube appears to display the question mark option.

Cheat codes:
Start the game by using one of the following command line parameters to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Multiple codes may be entered at once.

Ultimate Kombat Kodes:
Perform a clockwise sweep of the controller to display the Ultimate Kombat Kodes screen. The icons on the bottom of the VS screen can be changed by pressing the HP, HK, and LK in that order. Player one selects the first three codes and player two controls the last three. When icons are placed in a certain combination, a Kombat Kode is revealed.

Cheat option:
Highlight the "Continue" selection on the options screen. Hold [Low Kick] + [Block] until the cheat option appears and the word "Outstanding" is spoken. The cheat options include "Endings", "Fatalities 1", "Fatalities 2", and "Level Fatalities". The "Level Fatalities" option will allow the spike fatality to be executed on any level.

Question mark menu:
Hold [Up] + [Block] + [Run] at the options screen until it shakes.

Classic characters:
Highlight Jax, Kano, Kung Lao or Raiden, then press 7 or X.

Random character select:
Highlight Noob Saibot at the character selection screen and press [Up] + [Start]. Note: For player two, highlight Rain at the character selection screen.

Stage select:
Highlight Sonya Blade at the character selection screen. Hold [Up] + [Enter] or [Up] + Z. The screen will shake to confirm correct code entry.

Fight as Chameleon:
Choose any male ninja (Reptile, Classic Sub-Zero, Rain, Human Smoke, Ermac, Noob Saibot, or Scorpion) and hold [Back] + [LP] + [HP] until the fight starts. Chameleon is a semi-clear ninja that morphs into all the other ninjas in the game. When the fight begins, your ninja will explode and change into Chameleon.

Debug coordinates:
Press N during game play.

One button endings:
Start the game with the mkrtilw -f_1butt command line. Then, press one of the following keys at the "Finish Him" screen.

High Punch: Brutality
Low Punch: Babality
High Kick: Fatality 1
Low Kick: Fatality 2
Block: Friendship
Run: Animality

Instant kill (Windows version):
Start the game with the mktrilw -instykill command line. Press [F1] to kill player one or [F2] to kill player two.

View all command line cheats (Windows version):
Start the game with the mktrilw -povhelp command line.

Enable treasure chest (DOS version):
Enter one of the following Kombat Kodes to activate the corresponding effect.

Rapidly tap [Space] at the high score screen.

Use one of the following entries with the .goto code. Note: Levels 20, 21, 25, 26, 27 and 42 lead to multi-player levels. Levels 36 through 40 are different versions of other levels in the game.
