Seventh costume:
Select team mode and choose to fight with eight characters. Defeat all of the your opponent's team by using two or less of your own fighters to unlock the seventh costume for the character(s) you used.

Wolverine gets his original yellow/blue/black costume.
Phoenix gets a red/gold costume similar to Dark Phoenix.
Juggernaut, Gambit, and Psylocke get a costume similar to their comic book original.
Beast gets a blue costume with a yellow X on his chest, and he also has a helmet.

When you chose the seventh costume for Cyclops, Wolverine, Betsy, Juggernaut, Sentinel A (Sentinel), Gambit, Storm, Sabretooth, Rogue and Magneto, they will most commonly appear in their costumes if they were in a "Vs." series game (Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash Of The Superheroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, X-Men Children Of The Atom, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter).

Eighth costume:
Win forty matches in survival mode as any character.

Classic costumes:
Some characters have classic outfits that resemble the classic X-Men characters:

Wolverine: Costume VII
Betsy: Costume VII
Forge: Costume VI
Gambit: Costume V
Juggernaut: Costume VII
Magneto: Costume VII
Nightcrawler: Costume VII
Sabretooth: Costume III
Rogue: Costume VI

Ending sequences:
There are three possible endings in the game in story mode.

Regular ending (Magneto's Victory): Defeat Bastion as Magneto.

Alternate ending (Phoenix's Victory): Lose the Magneto vs. Bastion fight and you will go to the Phoenix vs. Bastion fight. Defeat Bastion as Phoenix.

Secret Ending (Fury of Dark Phoenix): Get a "Perfect" victory in the Phoenix vs. Bastion fight. This will also, unlock Dark Phoenix as a playable character.

Hint: Nightcrawler: Play in the Dimensional Rage:
When in training mode as Nightcrawler, turn on "Infinite Specials" then perform the Dimensional Rage technique. You will be in the Dimension for the technique. Perform a different special other than Dimensional Rage and make it contact. This will cancel Dimensional Rage and leave you in the darkness. To exit, perform the Dimensional Rage again and let it finish properly.

Starfield display:

Note: This trick requires the DVD playback kit. When the music is stopped or paused, a small starfield-style display will appear in the jewel that plays with the music. To zoom in on this, press Info. Then, press Stop or Pause. After the lights fade, the starfield will be in full screen.

Hidden FMV sequence:

Insert an audio CD. Stop the CD when it begins playing at the CD player screen. Press B, select "Copy", then press A. Use the "Select All" option, then press A. Use the "Copy" option and create a new soundtrack. Enter <<Eggsßox>> as a name. Select "Done" and press A to view a hidden "Thank You!" FMV sequence.

Progressive Scan Dashboard:
Note: This requires the Tsunami Xbox Live! update, a high definition monitor, and the High Definition AV pack. Enable the 480p resolution option in the Xbox's video settings. Then press L + R + click Left Analog-stick + click Right Analog-stick to switch at the Dashboard to switch to a progressive scan display.

Hint: Extras menu: Xbox Live not required:
The following games do not require Xbox Live to unlock the content.

Toejam And Earl (Adds all of the characters from the game to your Xbox without Xbox Live.)

Level select:
Press L, Up, Down, R, X at the level selection screen.

Remote control:
You can use an Xbox remote control with this disc.

Display: Clears screen, or brings back last screen.
Play: Pause the playing song and restart it.
Reverse and Forward: Speed up the playing song.
Skip -: Move shaded area up to last song.
Skip +: Move shaded area down to next song.
(After you move shaded area, press Select and the song will play.)
Stop: Stops everything.
Pause: Pauses song. Press it again to resume.
Info: Same function as Back on a controller.
Back: Go back to the Xbox Music Mixer menu.

All tracks:
Enter WIBBLE as a code at the cheat screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Unlock racing levels:
Enter FREEPLAY as a code at the cheat screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

O2 Liveried:
Enter UCANDO as a code at the cheat screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Programmer messages:
Enter MUNCHKIN, EDDROOLZ, or EDDIEPOO as a code at the cheat screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. A programmer message will appear at the end of the credits sequence.

Templar:
Successfully complete season mode with all first place wins and all objectives completed.

Hint: Surviving against experienced online players:

Get the Kevlar Vest for 100 points for extra protection.

Get five helmets for 20 points each; protect your head.

Get the M16 with grenade launcher or the submachine gun (RP-46) for maximum damage with minimal shots.

Do not stand still; move around and shoot to avoid direct hits. Also, aim for the head.

If you are low on health and body protection, detach from engaging and get your armor and health back up quickly.

Alpine Retreat environment and Techno music:
Reach your workout commitment five times and get a "Silver" rank.

Island Paradise environment and House music:
Reach your workout commitment seven times and get a "Gold" rank.

Alternate background:

Press X at the menu with the single or triple duel options to change the background to that of one of cards that you have unlocked.

Hint: Getting characters in single duel mode:
To get people in single duel mode, put them in last in triple duel mode then defeat them.

Hint: Unlocking characters in single duel mode:

Shimon: Defeat level 1 in Triple Duel.
Grandpa: Defeat level 1 in Triple Duel twice.
Yugi: Defeat level 6 or defeat level 1 in Triple Duel three times.
Tea: Defeat level 2 in Triple Duel.
Joey: Defeat level 10 or defeat level 2 in Triple Duel twice.
Tristan: Defeat level 2 in Triple Duel three times.
Bakura: Defeat level 3 in Triple Duel three times.
Shadi: Defeat level 3 in Triple Duel.
Yami Yugi: Defeat level 14, level 12 or level 3 in Triple Duel twice.
Weevil: Defeat level 4 in Triple Duel twice.

Pause game play, then hold L and press Up(3), Left(2), Right, Left, Right.

Unlimited shield:

Pause the game, then hold L and press Up, Down, Up, Left, Right, Down, Up.

Cheats:

Collect all 400 fireflies in a level to unlock the corresponding cheat.

Level 1: Insect Eye . Changes your vision.
Level 2: Screen Switch. Reverses level.
Level 3. Auto-Hop. Hold D-pad to keep Zapper moving.
Level 4: Infinite Super Zap. Zapper always has a Super Zap.
