Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "player_start.des" file in the "/aquanox/dat/sav" folder. Enter "999999" as the number of credits in that file.

Ship selection:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "player_start.des" file in the "/aquanox/dat/sav" folder. Locate the "Ship = 1" entry and change the number to one of the following values for the corresponding ship.

2: Drowsy Maggie
3: Avenger
4: Tiburon
5: Skipjack
6: Vortex
7: Succubus 2
8: Voodoo Breath
9: Phobo Caster

Cheat mode:
Start the game with the -drake -strega -amitab -fuzzyhead -mice command line parameters to enable cheat mode. Then, press one of the following keys during game play to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Cheat mode: Press [Esc] to display the exit options screen. Type 7th followed by one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Joey will say "Cool" to confirm correct code entry. Click on the "No Way" option to resume game play.

Maximum nudges:
Complete the "CASHnGRAB", then attempt the "NUDGEPOT". Hold Z until the "ONE" symbol remains lit, then press X and release Z. Repeat this to accumulate 10 nudges. This may also be done when gambling on the Money Ladder after a win.
