Auto-play:
Use a text editor to create a dummy file named "flash.pop" in the game folder. Begin game play and select the "Continuos Advance" icon.

Hint: Xeno Dig credit:
Land on a planet that has at least ten outposts. Immediately build a Lush Growth Bomb. After it is built, delete ten outposts. You will receive credit for a Xeno Dig on the next turn.

Hint: Orbital Shield decoy:
When a planet with a missile base is being attacked, immediately start construction of an Orbital Shield. The enemy should destroy the under-construction shield. Before counter-attacking, go the planet screen and start building another Orbital Shield.

Enter one of the following codes to during game play to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Hint: Rain of fire:
Press the back arrow to teleport. Keep pressing it and fire, so you can not get hit and there are energy blasts all over the field. Note: This does not work in classic mode.

Hint: Wave 3:

Cheat mode: Double click the upper left corner of the Patlabor logo to display the code entry prompt. The kidokeisatsu to enable cheat mode. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Cheat mode: Press [Left Alt] + [Right Alt] + Right Mouse Button at the title screen. Then, press one of the following keys to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Hint: Centipede: Scorpions:
In levels 4 and higher, scorpions start appearing. Eliminate them quickly or they will poison the mushrooms. When the centipede touches them, it will start to dive down to the ground -- get out of the way.

Cheat mode:
Hold [Right Alt] + [Right Shift] + [Right Ctrl] at the main menu. With the keys held, enter the "Quick Mission" option, return to the main menu, then select "Quick Mission" a second time. All planes are now selectable, and any mission may be edited.

Cheat mode:
Press [Esc] during game play and click on the white bar at the top of the screen.

Mandalas curtains puzzle solution:
Load the "atlantis2.log" in the game directory into a text editor. Search for the text "mandalas" to find a section with the heading "--- Solution Mandalas ---". The following lines will reveal the solution to the puzzle that requires the curtains to be selected in the order in which the mandalas were placed on the disc earlier in the game. Note: The reader must be used to view this file. A HTML preview version is also available for direct viewing through the service.

Cheat mode: Press [Alt] + ~ to display the console window. Type one of the following codes, then press [Alt] + ~ again to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Unlimited money:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "missions" file in the game folder. Change the "[fund]10000" entry and increase the number as desired.

Campaign mode select:
Press C five times at the player selection screen.

Level editor:
Hold [Ctrl] and press E six times at the main menu.

Abort losing round:
Immediately press [F10] if your character is destroyed to keep the round from being counted.

Bonus graphics:
Enter the "data/sound" directory of the game to find hidden graphics of the game's programmer.

Bonus themes:
Enter the "data/theme" directory of the game to find Windows 95 theme files for the game.

Cheat mode:
Type tuesday 14th at the title screen. A cheat option will appear when the game starts.

Jump to end of game:
Enable cheat mode, then select the outermost planet.

Unlimited lives:
Type neverdie at the main screen.

Hint: Powerful bomber:
Go to the weapons development screen and keep attempting to get new technology. Keep trying until you get heavy bomber, jet power, and long range aircraft. Then, buy a few bombers. You will obtain powerful bombers with eight movement points. Also, if you have "paratroopers" enabled, they can carry two infantry. The eight movement point bonus allows these planes to fly almost everywhere on the map. Two at once infantry transport added with its range makes this plane a perfect way to start an assault from anywhere, to anywhere. This is a time consuming (and possibly IPC consuming) strategy, but worth the effort. To make this less IPC consuming, start a game however desired. As soon as the game begins, save it. Play a few rounds. If you think you are in good shape and are getting the correct technologies, continue. If not, try again.

Cheat mode:
Start the game with the +console command line parameter. Press [Enter] during game play, then type one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.
