Duplicate items:
Note: This requires the 5.25 floppy diskette version of the game. Put the items to be duplicated onto any character. Enter an inn. Pass the items you want duplicated to another character. Leave the character you took the items from, and leave him in the inn. Return and pick him up and he will still have the items, along with the character you passed them to.

Hint: The Obelisk Quest:
Go to Murmurwoods and wait until June 24. Between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. look for the Unicorn King. Take the key from him and return to Ravenshore. Then, find the fenced in area.

Hint: Unlimited items:
When entering the locked door on the Isle of Ashes, open the chest to the right, just inside the door. Do not click on the book -- this will take you to the next part of the game. Instead, go back through the door and enter the Verhoffin Ruins. Do not enter the doors. You are not strong enough to kill the skeletons in there. While in here, go down the hall and around the corner to the end and open the chest. Take everything and leave. Go back to the now opened door and look at the chest. It should now be closed. Re-open it and take everything. Go back to the ruins, leave ruins, go back to chest, and the chest will be closed again. Keep going backwards and forwards collecting items from same chest. Note: This was done with the v1.2 patch of the game.

Reveal mine:
In the Windows 98 and earlier versions, type xyzzy, press [Keypad Enter] and [Left Shift] as soon as the game loads. Moving your pointer over a square with a hidden mine will result in a very small black pixel appearing in the top right corner of the screen. Alternately, type [Shift][Shift]xyzzy[Shift][Shift] after moving the pointer over the game area. Note: This code does not work in the Windows Millennium Edition version of the game.

Unlimited time:
Hold the Left Mouse Button + Right Mouse Button and press [Esc]. Alternately, hold the Left Mouse Button + Right Mouse Button + [Ctrl].

Enter ELSA as a pilot name, then type ELSA at beginning of the connect screen chat line to bark at your opponents.

Transform into Kaesar's Genetic Matrix:

Have over 12 units in multi-player mode:
Load a single-player force with more than 12 units. Then, rename one of the Hercs on that force to Big John. Then, load this force when starting a multi-player game. Note: Use of this feature may slow or crash the game.

Cheap purchases:
Play against the CPU and land on an unowned property. Place the property up for auction. Keep bidding $10 to win the auction as no other player can challenge your offer.

Cheat mode (WM edition):
Type gimmesheep during game play.

Play against the CPU. After landing on unowned property, place it into auction. Keep bidding $10 to win the auction, as the CPU will not challenge you.

More money:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "initialpref.lua" file in the scenario or level folder in the "scripts" directory in the game folder. Near the top should be the following entry:

Win auctions:
Start an auction. Immediately save the game when the auction screen appears. Quit the game and reload your saved game. Almost all of the time, the CPU players will pullout of the auction, allowing you to get the property for the cheapest price. If this does not happen, reload the game and try again.

Extra lives:
Press Z + [F10] for five additional lives.
