Level select:
Enter EL001 through EL150 as a password to start at the corresponding level.

Print intermission scenes:
Press Select during an intermission scene to print it on a Game Boy Printer.

Full hearts:
Obtain at least thirty jewels. When down to your last heart, save the game, then restart and load that saved game. Your hearts will be restored to full.

Hint: More money and energy:
Use the shovel to dig at every location to increase your money and energy.

Hint: Defeating Bosses:
Maneuver a Boss against a wall, then keep hitting it with your sword.

Invincibility:
Successfully complete R-Type DX using ten or less credits. Then, press Select + A during a R-Type Standard type game.

Quick reset:
Hold B during game play and power the Game Boy off and on while continuing to hold the button. The game will resume at the start of the last level played with five lives but no points or power-ups.

Drawing mode:
Successfully complete the game in R-Type I Enhanced, R-Type II Enhanced, and R-Type DX. Press Right at the game type selection screen until the De Souza drawing editor option appears. Then, press Start to begin.

Link mode:
Hold down Select and press Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, Up at the options menu . The "Players 1 or 2" option will be unlocked, which allows the two player mode to be played on two Game Boy Color systems using a link cable.

Play as Tiny:
Select Ralph as a character, then intentionally die. Then, quickly press Select, A, B(2), Up, Down, Forward, Back after transforming into a person.

Glitch: Float in mid-air:
Hit a neon sign just as the building that your monster is standing on begins to collapse. If the building falls down while your monster is still being shocked, it will remain in mid-air.

World map:
Pause game play, then press A, Left, A, Left, A, B, Right, B, Up, B, A, Left, A, Down, A. Note: The speed at which the buttons are pressed are particularly sensitive. Try pressing them faster or slower until the code is enabled.
