Options mode:
Pause game play and press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, A + B, Start. Weapons, shields, missiles, and lasers may now be available.

Full speed and shields:
Pause game play and press B(5), A(5), Start.

Destroy all on-screen enemies:
Pause game play and press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, B, A.

Expert mode:
Pause game play and press Up, Select, Down, Select, Left, Select, Right, Select(3). Collecting power-ups will have no effect on your ship.

Remove current power-up:
Pause game play and press [A, Left] five times.

Bonus levels:

Level 2
Destroy the volcano towards the top after the ceiling drops and rises. Fly through the hole where the volcano was located.

Level 4
Destroy the second Re-Bone blocking the narrow passage near the end of the level. Fly to the bottom of the passage to reach the wall behind your ship.

Cheat mode:
Press Up(2), Down(2), A, B, A, B at the title screen. Then hold A and press Start. Press Up or Down to select a new starting level, with 80 lives, and 99 miracle kicks will now be available.

Continue game:
Hold A + B and press Start when the title screen reappears after the game over screen.

Level 8 after defeating Mist Spirit:
Enter JWX4X5 [Triangle]J+[Triangle]B2 [Triangle]CC[Triangle]QC +[Triangle]S+[Circle]5 F[Square] as a password.

Sound test:
Hold Right + B + A and press Start at the title screen. Alternately, hold A + B + Up and press Start at the title screen.

Level passwords:
Use a three digit level prefix and a two digit team suffix to create a five digit password to play the selected level with the corresponding team. Example: To play as the U.S.A. in the finals, enter 01631 as the password.

Password screen chanting:
Press Left at the Gamespeak screen to chant. Then, enter the password screen and rapidly tap Up, Down, Left, or Right.

Super jump:
Jump and pause game play while in mid-air. Resume game play and press B to jump again while still in the air. Repeat this to move as high as needed. Note: Moving too far up can crash the game.

Bypass intermissions:
Press Start to advance past the intermission sequences.

Repeatedly enter "9" followed by "Divide" until random characters appear on the display.

Phone book crash:
Enter the phone book, select "Scan" and choose a letter that has no existing entries. Press "U" when the phrase "No Entry" will appears to display random parts of other records.

Press Left, Up, Right, Up, Left(2), Up, Right, Up, Left, Up when "Push Start" appears at the opening screen. A music test menu will appear. Press Up, Down, or A to hear songs from the game. Press Left, Right or B to hear sound effects from the game. Press Select to change levels, then press Start to begin game play at that point in the game.

99 damage points:
Select your fleet information, then end your turn immediately. Hold Left + Select + B during the enemy's turn.

Super torpedo: You may shoot through islands to hit ships on the opposite side if your submarines are lined up.
