Press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Left, Down, Right at the skill screen to access level selection, invincibility, and all weapons options.

Hold Start and power on the Game Gear. A sound test screen will appear after the Sega logo disappears. Press 2 to hear the sounds from the game.

Alternate ending:
Start a new game in flash mode, a height of nine, and the difficulty level set to normal. Quit the game after the demonstration mode to view a new ending sequence.

Skip battles:
Power off the Game Gear before a battle begins. Turn it back on and restore the saved game to resume at the point after the battle.

Music test:
Hold Up + Start at the title screen.

Unlimited ammunition:
Take any weapon from level 1 and fire it. Quickly collect it again when it drops after running out of ammunition. Fire it and collect it again when it drops to have unlimited ammunition for that weapon.
