Slow motion mode:
Pause game play and tap Select.

Hidden endings:
Use one of the following teams to beat Goenitz to view a new ending.

Use Kyo, Iori, and Chizuru to fight as Kyo and Chizuru against Orochi Iori.
Use Kyo, Terry, and Ryo to fight the rest of your team.
Use Geese, Krauser, and Mr. Big to fight as Geese against the rest of your team.
Use Terry, Andy, and Geese to fight as Terry and Andy against Geese.
Use Ryo, Robert, and Mr. Big to fight as Ryo and Robert against Mr. Big.
Use Iori, Leona, and Mature to fight as Iori and Mature against Orochi Leona.
Use Mr. Big, Geese, and Krauser to fight against Iroi, Chizuru, and Kyo.

Revive a character:
Highlight a character with a pendant on the map screen. Press Select + B until the pendant begins to flash in the "Spells/Attributes" portion of the screen. Then, press Select + A to display a prompt that allows the selection of the character to be revived. Choose a character, press A, then place that character at any location in the map that is under your control. Once revived, the character will have all the spells, attributes, and health present before his or her last battle.

Secret level:
Exceed the "Border Line" score on each of the ten normal levels. A bridge leading to the bonus level 11 will appear.

Bonus round practice:
Enable the "Secret level" code, then beat the "Border Line" score for level 11. Then, press A during game play on level 11.

Configuration mode:
Press Down + Select + B at the title screen. Options for the number of lives, sound test, and other selections will be accessible.
