Monochrome mode:
Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, II, I, II, I at the original mode title screen. Note: This code will not work in plus mode.

Rapid fire:
Hold I and press Run at the plus mode title screen. Note: This code will not work in original mode.

Ten bonus ships:
Pause the game during a play and press I, Select, II, Select, I, Select, II, Select.

Level select:
Highlight the "Option" selection on the title screen and press Up + Select + I. The "Sound Select" option will change into a level selection option.

Level skip:
Pause the game during a play and press Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, II six times. Then, resume game play, hold Left + I + II, and press Run.

Level select:
Press Up, Up, Down five times, I, I, Run when the phrase "Push Run Button" appears on the title screen. Then, highlight "Option", hold Left and press Run.
